Description
本出願は、2007年1月18日に出願された米国仮特許出願番号第60/885,559の利益を主張する通常の特許出願である。この出願を本明細書に援用する。
本発明の特徴は、ローターシステムの中心の周りに配置されている電力モジュール56のような重い構成部品を、均一に配置することである。このため、回転翼航空機10の重心は、例えば、重心CG1および重心CG2は、ローターシステム36のリフトのほぼ中心と一致している。また、ローターシステム36のリフトの中心は、同軸の第1、第2ローターモジュール14、16の間の中央に配置されることができる。

Claims (8)
- 縦軸、機体の第1端部、および、前記第1端部から間隔をあけて前記機体の反対側に設けられた第2端部、を備えた非回転構造の背骨を構成する、機体と、
第1ローターハブ、および、前記第1ローターハブに動作可能に接続されて、前記縦軸に対して垂直に延設されている複数の第1ローター羽根、を備えた前記非回転構造の背骨に動作可能に接続された、第1ローターモジュールと、
第2ローターハブ、および、前記第2ローターハブに動作可能に接続されて、前記縦軸に対して垂直に延設されている複数の第2ローター羽根、を備えた前記非回転構造の背骨に動作可能に接続されて、前記第1ローターモジュールに対して間隔をあけて配置された、第2ローターモジュールと、
前記非回転構造の背骨に動作可能に接続されて、前記第1ローターモジュールと前記第1端部との間に配置された前記第1ローターモジュールに電力を供給する、第1電力モジュールと、
前記非回転構造の背骨に動作可能に接続されて、前記第2ローターモジュールと前記第2端部との間に配置された第2ローターモジュールに電力を供給する、第2電力モジュールと、
を有することを特徴とする回転翼航空機。 - 前記第1電力モジュールおよび前記第2電力モジュールによって、前記回転翼航空機の飛行中に互いに通信されて、前記第1電力モジュールおよび前記第2電力モジュールから出力される電力のバランスが取られ、そして、
前記第1電力モジュールおよび前記第2電力モジュールの両方の電力が、同時に消耗される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転翼航空機。 - 前記第1電力モジュールおよび前記第2電力モジュールが、前記非回転構造の背骨において、電力導管および信号導管を介して通信する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転翼航空機。 - 前記機体の重心が、前記第1と第2電力モジュールの間に設けられたスペースに位置付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転翼航空機。
- 前記回転翼航空機には、前記ローター羽根の第1セットのピッチを変更する第1ピッチコントローラが、さらに設けられ、
前記第1ピッチコントローラが、前記機体に接続されて、前記第1と第2電力モジュールの間のスペースに位置付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転翼航空機。 - 前記回転翼航空機には、前記ローター羽根の第2セットのピッチを変更する第2ピッチコントローラが、さらに設けられ、
前記第2ピッチコントローラが、前記機体に接続されて、前記第1と第2電力モジュールの間の前記スペースに位置付けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回転翼航空機。 - 前記回転翼航空機には、物品を輸送する輸送手段、および、飛行中にデータを集める収集手段、のいずれか少なくとも1つを提供する第1ペイロードモジュールが、さらに設けられ、
前記ペイロードモジュールが、前記機体に接続されると共に、前記第1電力モジュールが、前記機体の重心と前記第1ペイロードモジュールとの間に位置付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転翼航空機。 - 前記回転翼航空機には、物品を輸送する輸送手段、および、飛行中にデータを集める収集手段、のいずれか少なくとも1つを備えた第2ペイロードモジュールが、さらに設けられ、
前記第2ペイロードが、前記機体に接続されると共に、前記第2電力モジュールが、前記機体の重心と前記第2ペイロードとの間に位置付けられていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の回転翼航空機。
