Description
皮膚内の1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させるよう構成された、1つ以上の超音波トランスデューサと、
1つ以上の集束体積にRFエネルギーを供給するよう構成された、1つ以上のRF電極対と、を含む。
皮膚内の1つ以上の集束体積で、第一の温度まで皮膚を加熱する、工程と、
第一の温度よりも高い第二の温度まで、1つ以上の集束領域を加熱する、工程と、を含み、
第一の温度まで及び第二の温度まで、皮膚を加熱する、工程が、1つ以上の集束体積で超音波エネルギーを集束させる工程と、1つ以上の集束領域を含む皮膚の領域内にRF電流を生成する工程と、を含む。
Claims (16)
- 皮膚を治療するためのシステムであって、
(a)皮膚内の少なくとも1つの集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させ、且つ周辺の組織の温度よりも高い第一の温度に前記集束体積を加熱するよう構成された、少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)前記第一の温度に加熱された少なくとも1つの集束体積にRFエネルギーを供給し、且つ加熱された前記集束体積を含む前記皮膚の領域にRF電流を誘導することによって、前記第一の温度よりも高い第二の温度に前記体積を加熱するよう構成された、少なくとも1つのRF電極対と、を備えていることを特徴とする、システム。 - (a)第一の一定時間に渡って1つ以上の超音波トランスデューサを作動させ、
(b)第二の一定時間に渡ってRF電極にRF電圧を印加する、
ように構成された、プロセッサを、更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 第一の一定時間が、第二の一定時間の前に存在する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 第一及び第二の一定時間が、少なくとも部分的に重なっている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 第一及び第二の一定時間が、実質的に同時に存在している、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサの1つ以上の処理パラメータを入力するための入力デバイスを、更に備えている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上のパラメータが、RF電圧の周波数、RF電圧の強度、RFエネルギーの持続時間、超音波領域の強度、及び皮膚表面からの集束領域の深さ、から選択される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサが、1つ以上のパルスからなる列にRFエネルギーを印加するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 超音波トランスデューサが、皮膚の真皮内に位置している1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 皮膚表面を冷却するための冷却システムを、更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 超音波トランスデューサ及びRF電極を含み、皮膚表面に付与されるよう構成された、アプリケータを、更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1対のRF電極及び少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサが、アプリケータ内に含まれており、アプリケータ内において、少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサが、1対のRF電極の間に配置されている、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 皮膚を治療するためのシステムであって、
(a)前記皮膚内に生成される誘導路にRF電流を誘導するように構成された少なくとも1つのRF電極対と、
(b)前記RF電極間に適用される少なくとも1つの集束超音波源と、を備えており、
前記超音波源は、周囲の前記皮膚よりも高い温度に前記皮膚を加熱することによって、前記RF電流のための単一の誘導路を前記皮膚内に生成し、前記誘導路は、前記RF電極間を延びている、システム。 - 皮膚を治療するためのシステムであって、
(a)前記皮膚の或る体積内に単一の延長された集束領域を生成し、且つ周囲の前記皮膚の温度よりも高い第一の温度に前記集束領域の温度を上げるように構成された少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)前記延長された集束領域に沿って延びており、且つ単一のRF電源によって駆動される単一の電極対であって、前記電極が前記皮膚に適用され、且つ時間及び空間の整合であって前記超音波を前記延長された集束領域に生み出される電場に整合させることを前記延長された集束領域内に発生させ、且つ前記第一の温度よりも高い第二の温度に同一の集束領域を加熱する、システム。 - 皮膚を治療するためのシステムであって、
(a)前記皮膚内で1つ以上の円筒状の集束体積を生み出すように構成された1つ以上の円筒状の超音波トランスデューサであって、各トランスデューサがそれぞれ集束体積を加熱する1つ以上の円筒状の超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)前記超音波トランスデューサと組み合わせられた1次元又は2次元の構造を有する複数のRF電極であって、前記超音波トランスデューサによって加熱される同一の円筒状の集束体積を更に加熱するように前記皮膚に対して適用される複数のRF電極と、を備えている、システム。 - 皮膚表面を冷却するための冷却システムを、更に備えている、請求項13−15のいずれか1つに記載のシステム。
