Description
皮膚内の1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させるよう構成された、1つ以上の超音波トランスデューサと、
1つ以上の集束体積にRFエネルギーを供給するよう構成された、1つ以上のRF電極対と、を含む。
皮膚内の1つ以上の集束体積で、第一の温度まで皮膚を加熱する、工程と、
第一の温度よりも高い第二の温度まで、1つ以上の集束領域を加熱する、工程と、を含み、
第一の温度まで及び第二の温度まで、皮膚を加熱する、工程が、1つ以上の集束体積で超音波エネルギーを集束させる工程と、1つ以上の集束領域を含む皮膚の領域内にRF電流を生成する工程と、を含む。
Claims (22)
- 皮膚体積内に誘導路を生成するシステムであって、
(a)前記皮膚内の少なくとも1つの集束体積に超音波エネルギー集束させ、前記体積の電気伝導率を上げるように前記体積を加熱するように構成された少なくとも1つのトランスデューサと、
(b)同一の前記集束体積にRFエネルギーを供給するように構成された少なくとも一対のRF電極と、
(c)前記RFエネルギーによって生成されるRF電流が、加熱された前記集束体積の中央部分を通って前記一対のRF電極の間を流れるように構成された制御ユニットであって、前記RFエネルギーのパラメータが、100KHz〜100MHzの前記RF電圧の周波数、前記RF電圧の強度、及び前記RFエネルギーの持続時間からなる群から選ばれており、前記超音波エネルギーは500KHz〜50MHzの周波数を有している、制御ユニットと、を備えているシステム。 - 前記制御ユニットは、
(a)第1の一定時間に渡って1つ以上の前記超音波トランスデューサを作動させ、
(b)第2の一定時間に渡って前記RF電極に前記RF電圧を印加する、ように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記電極が、超音波電場によって影響を受ける前記皮膚体積に空間的な整合又は時間的な整合の少なくとも1つを生成するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記RF電極によって生成される前記超音波電場の前記空間的な整合は、前記超音波トランスデューサの前記集束体積を覆う、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記RF電極によって生成される前記超音波電場の前記時間的な整合は、前記皮膚への前記超音波エネルギーの集束と前記皮膚への前記RFエネルギーの供給との間の時間である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサは、前記皮膚の真皮層内に位置する少なくとも1つの集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記皮膚表面を冷却するための冷却システムを更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記超音波トランスデューサ及び前記RF電極を含み、前記皮膚表面に適用されるように構成されたアプリケータを更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1対の前記RF電極及び少なくとも1つの前記超音波トランスデューサが、前記アプリケータ内に含まれており、前記アプリケータ内に、前記少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサが、超音波で加熱された同一の前記皮膚体積内に電流を生成するように構成された1対の前記RF電極の間に位置している、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つの前記集束体積が、前記皮膚表面の下0.2mm〜5mmの間に位置している、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つの前記集束体積が、前記皮膚表面の下0.2mm〜2mmの間に位置している、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つの前記集束領域の横方向の幅が、0.05mm〜1mmである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1つの前記集束領域の横方向の幅が、0.1mm〜0.3mmである、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記集束体積間の横方向の間隙が、0.3mm〜3mmである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記集束体積間の横方向の間隙が、0.5mm〜1mmである、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記RF電極間の前記集束体積の長さが、1mm〜20mmである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記RF電極間の前記集束体積の長さが、3mm〜10mmである、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記RF電極によって生成される電場は、前記超音波トランスデューサの前記集束体積と同一の空間を占める、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記皮膚の少なくとも1つの前記集束体積への前記RFエネルギーの供給は、同一の前記集束体積への前記超音波エネルギーの集束に続いて直ぐに起こる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 皮膚治療のためのシステムであって、
(a)前記皮膚内に生成される誘導路内にRF電流を誘導するように構成された少なくとも一対のRF電極と、
(b)前記RF電極間に適用される少なくとも1つの超音波源であって、前記超音波源が、周囲の前記皮膚よりも高い温度に前記皮膚を加熱することによって、前記RF電流のための単一の誘導路を前記皮膚内に作り出し、前記誘導路は前記RF電極間に延びており、前記RF電流は、100KHz〜100MHzの周波数のRFエネルギーによって生成されており、前記超音波源は、500KHz〜50MHzの周波数の超音波エネルギーを生成している、少なくとも1つの超音波源と、
(c)前記RF電流が前記単一の誘導路の中央部分を通って前記一対のRF電極の間を流れるように構成された制御ユニットと、を備えているシステム。 - 皮膚治療のためのシステムであって、
(a)前記皮膚の体積内に、単一の引き伸ばされた集束領域を生成し、周囲の前記皮膚の温度よりも高い第1温度に前記集束領域の温度を上げるように構成された少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)前記引き伸ばされた集束領域に沿って延びており、単一のRF電源によって駆動される一対のRF電極であって、前記RF電極は、前記皮膚に適用され、前記引き伸ばされた集束領域内に、前記超音波トランスデューサによって生成された超音波と時間的および空間的に整合する電場を生成するように構成され、且つ前記第1温度よりも高い第2温度まで同一の前記引き伸ばされた集束領域を加熱し、前記超音波エネルギーの適用は、前記引き伸ばされた集束領域を加熱し、且つ前記引き伸ばされた集束領域に適用されるRFエネルギーによって更に加熱された誘導路を生成し、前記RFエネルギーは、100KHz〜100MHzの周波数を有しており、前記超音波エネルギーは、500KHz〜50MHzの周波数を有している、一対のRF電極と、
(c)前記RFエネルギーによって生成されるRF電流が、前記引き伸ばされた集束領域の中央部分を通って前記一対のRF電極の間を流れるように構成された制御ユニットと、を備えているシステム。
- 皮膚治療のためのシステムであって、
(a)各トランスデューサがそれぞれの集束体積を加熱するように、前記皮膚内に1以上の円筒状集束体積を生み出すように構成された、1以上の円筒状超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)前記超音波トランスデューサに組み合わされる1次元又は2次元構造を有し、且つ前記皮膚に適用され、前記超音波トランスデューサによって加熱される同一の前記円筒状集束体積を更に加熱するように構成された、複数のRF電極と、
(c)RFエネルギーによって生成されるRF電流が、加熱された前記円筒状集束領域の中央部分を通って前記複数のRF電極間を流れるように構成された制御ユニットであって、前記RF電極が、100KHz〜100MHzの周波数を有する前記RFエネルギーを生成し、前記超音波トランスデューサが、500KHz〜50MHzの周波数を有する超音波エネルギーを生成する制御ユニットと、を備えているシステム。
