Abstract

皮膚内の1つ以上の集束体積で、第一の温度まで皮膚を加熱する、工程と、
第一の温度よりも高い第二の温度まで、1つ以上の集束領域を加熱する、工程と、を含み、
第一の温度まで及び第二の温度まで、皮膚を加熱する、工程が、1つ以上の集束体積で超音波エネルギーを集束させる工程と、1つ以上の集束領域を含む皮膚の領域内にRF電流を生成する工程と、を含む。
Claims (42)
- 皮膚を治療するためのシステムであって、
(a)皮膚内の1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束せさるよう構成された、1つ以上の超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)1つ以上の集束体積にRFエネルギーを供給するよう構成された、1つ以上のRF電極対と、を備えていることを特徴とする、システム。 - (a)第一の一定時間に渡って1つ以上の超音波トランスデューサを作動させ、
(b)第二の一定時間に渡ってRF電極にRF電圧を印加する、
ように構成された、プロセッサを、更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 第一の一定時間が、第二の一定時間の前に存在する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 第一及び第二の一定時間が、少なくとも部分的に重なっている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 第一及び第二の一定時間が、実質的に同時に存在している、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサの1つ以上の処理パラメータを入力するための入力デバイスを、更に備えている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上のパラメータが、RF電圧の周波数、RF電圧の強度、RFエネルギーの持続時間、超音波領域の強度、及び皮膚表面からの集束領域の深さ、から選択される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- RFエネルギーが、100KHz〜100MHzである、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 超音波エネルギーが、500KHz〜50MHzの周波数を有する、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサが、1つ以上のパルスからなる列にRFエネルギーを印加するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサが、1秒〜10秒の時間に渡ってRF電極にRF電圧を印加するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサが、1秒〜10秒の時間に渡って超音波トランスデューサを作動させるように構成されている、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 超音波トランスデューサが、皮膚の真皮内に位置している1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 皮膚表面を冷却するための冷却システムを、更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 超音波トランスデューサ及びRF電極を含み、皮膚表面に付与されるよう構成された、アプリケータを、更に備えている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも1対のRF電極及び少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサが、アプリケータ内に含まれており、アプリケータ内において、少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサが、1対のRF電極の間に配置されている、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上の集束体積が、皮膚表面の下0.2mm〜5mmの間に位置している、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上の集束体積が、皮膚表面の下0.2mm〜2mmの間に位置している、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上の集束領域の横方向の幅が、0.05mm〜1mmである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 1つ以上の集束領域の横方向の幅が、0.1mm〜0.3mmである、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 集束体積間の横方向の間隙が、0.3mm〜3mmである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 集束体積間の横方向の間隙が、0.5mm〜1mmである、請求項21に記載のシステム。
- RF電極間の集束体積の長さが、1mm〜20mmである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- RF電極間の集束体積の長さが、3mm〜10mmである、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 皮膚を治療するための方法であって、
(a)皮膚内の1つ以上の集束領域で、第一の温度まで皮膚を加熱する、工程と、
(b)第一の温度よりも高い第二の温度まで、1つ以上の集束領域を加熱する、工程と、を含み、
第一の温度まで及び前記第二の温度まで、皮膚を加熱する、工程が、1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギーを集束させる工程と、1つ以上の集束領域を含む皮膚の領域内にRF電流を生成する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 第一の温度まで皮膚を加熱する工程が、1つ以上の集束体積に超音波エネルギー集束させる工程を含み、第二の温度まで皮膚を加熱する工程が、1つ以上の集束領域を含む皮膚の領域にRF電流を生成する工程を含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 第二の温度が、約44℃〜約70℃である、請求項25に記載の方法。
- RF電流が、100KHz〜100MHzの周波数を有する、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 超音波エネルギーが、500KHz〜50MHzの周波数を有する、請求項25に記載の方法。
- RFエネルギーが、1つ以上のパルスからなる列に印加される、請求項25に記載の方法。
- RF電流が、10ミリ秒〜10秒の時間に渡って生成される、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 超音波エネルギーが、10ミリ秒〜10秒の時間に渡って1つ以上の集束領域上に集束される、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の集束領域が、皮膚の真皮領域内に位置している、請求項25に記載の方法。
