Description
本発明の実施例1として非水電解液二次電池について図2を参照して説明する。ジェリーロールは、正極板と負極板がセパレータ5を介して巻回されており、最外周に巻き止めテープの機能を兼ねた導電性アルミ箔粘着テープ9を重ねてなる。正極板にはアルミリード端子8が導電性アルミ箔粘着テープ9にて、負極板には銅リード端子10が導電性銅箔粘着テープ11にて、貼り付けられている。
図5は、本発明の非水電解液二次電池に用いる実施例2によるジェリーロールの構成図である。実施例1と同様の方法で、正極、負極の集電体の長さと、正極、負極の電極合剤層の塗布長と、セパレータの長さとをそれぞれ38mm長くした事、缶ケースの厚さを0.2mm厚くした事以外は実施例1と同様の二次電池を作製し、容量を測定した。
図6は、従来の非水電解液二次電池に用いる正極板又は負極板を説明する図であり、図6(a)は表面の、図6(b)は裏面の模式図である。集電体上に、電極合剤層を塗布したところは電極合剤層塗布部1であり、電極合剤層を塗布しないところは電極合剤層未塗布部2である。集電体の表面、裏面ともに電極合剤層を塗布したところは両面塗布部21、表面、裏面のうち片面だけ電極合剤層を塗布したところは片面塗布部22、表面、裏面ともに電極合剤層を塗布しないところは両面未塗布部23である。従来方法では、各電極のリード端子は抵抗溶接で接続するため、両面未塗布部23が存在する。

Claims (3)
- 正極板、負極板、セパレータ、および電解液を備え、
前記正極板および前記負極板にはそれぞれリード端子が接続され、
前記正極板と前記負極板との間に前記セパレータを介して電池素子とし、電解液とともにケースに収容された非水電解液二次電池であって、
前記正極板及び前記負極板の少なくとも一方は、集電体の表面および裏面ともに電極合剤層を塗布した両面塗布部と、前記集電体の表面および裏面の片方だけに前記電極合剤層を塗布した片面塗布部とを備え、
前記リード端子が、前記片面塗布部における電極合剤層未塗布部に接続されており、
前記正極板及び前記負極板の少なくとも一方には、前記集電体の表面および裏面ともに電極合剤層を塗布していない両面未塗布部が存在せず、
前記正極板及び前記負極板の少なくとも一方と、前記リード端子とを、導電性テープを用いて貼り付けており、該導電性テープは、巻回した前記電池素子の巻き止めテープを兼ねている
非水電解液二次電池。 - 前記導電性テープは、尿素樹脂、フェノール樹脂、メラミン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ケイ素樹脂、またはアクリル樹脂を含む導電性粘着層を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の非水電解液二次電池。
- 前記正極板に貼り付ける前記導電性テープはアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金を基材とし、前記負極板に貼り付ける前記導電性テープは銅とニッケルのいずれか、またはそれらの合金を基材とすることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の非水電解液二次電池。
