Claims (3)
- 吐出エルボの上流側のポンプ流路が吸込水槽に垂下されて、前記ポンプ流路の吸込口が前記吸込水槽の水面下に没水し、垂下された前記ポンプ流路に配設されたポンプ軸の下端部に羽根車を配設し、前記吐出エルボの外壁を前記ポンプ軸が貫通し、前記貫通する部分を水密状態とする軸封部を設けた立軸ポンプにおいて、前記吐出エルボの外壁を前記ポンプ軸が貫通する部分を気密状態とする気密手段を設け、前記気密手段を前記ポンプ軸に遊嵌された部材の内周に前記ポンプ軸に臨ませてコ字状の溝を設けて内径が前記ポンプ軸の外径より大きいOリングを前記溝にその対向する両側の壁に接して挿入して構成し、前記吐出エルボの下流側のポンプ流路に吐出弁を設け、前記吸込水槽の水位を検出する水位検出手段を設け、圧縮気体を前記ポンプ流路内に供給する圧縮気体供給手段を設け、立軸ポンプの運転が停止されて、前記吸込水槽の水位が前記羽根車の下端以上の状態で、前記水位検出手段で検出された水位に応じて、前記ポンプ流路内の水位を前記羽根車の下端以下まで押し下げ得る圧力の圧縮気体を前記ポンプ流路内に前記圧縮気体供給手段から供給するとともに、前記気密手段の前記溝内に前記Oリングに外から内側方向に圧力が作用するように圧縮気体を供給することで前記Oリングを弾性変形させてその内径を前記ポンプ軸に弾接させて気密状態とするように構成したことを特徴とする立軸ポンプ。
- 請求項1記載の立軸ポンプにおいて、前記圧縮気体として空気または窒素を用いることを特徴とする立軸ポンプ。
- 請求項1記載の立軸ポンプにおいて、前記圧縮気体供給手段を、気体圧縮機を圧力調整弁と開閉弁を介して前記ポンプ流路内に連通し、前記ポンプ流路内の圧力を検出する圧力検出手段を設け、前記開閉弁を開閉制御する制御手段を設け、前記圧力検出手段と前記水位検出手段の信号に応じて前記制御手段が前記開閉弁を開閉制御するよう構成したことを特徴とする立軸ポンプ。
