Description

Claims (10)
- ドリルビット(101、310)であって、
シャフト(103、312)と、ピラミット状角錐状先端を形成する複数のエッジ(113,322)を具えたドリルチップ(105、318)とを備え、
前記シャフト(103)に沿って延びる第1の部分(109)と、前記ドリルチップ(105)に沿って延びる第2の部分(111)とを有し、少なくとも一つの凹部(107,317)の前記第2の部分(111)が前記ドリルチップのエッジ(113、322)に沿って延びる、穴あけ中に生成される切りくずを排出するための少なくとも1つの凹部(107、317)とを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの凹部(107、317)の前記第1の部分(109)が、らせん状であり、前記少なくとも一つの凹部(107、317)の前記第2の部分(111)が直線状であり、
前記少なくとも1つの凹部(107、317)の第2の部分(111)の深さが、前記ドリルチップ(105、317)の表面に対してその長手方向に沿って変動して、前記ドリルの先端(115、319)に隣接する前記エッジ(113、322)の切削能力が前記シャフト(103、312)に隣接する前記エッジ(113、322)の切削能力より低くなるようにしたことを特徴とするドリルビット。 - 各エッジ(113,322)が切れ刃を形成している請求項1に記載のドリルビット。
- 各エッジ(113)は、前記シャフト(103)から前記ドリルチップ(101)のシャフトから離れた先端部まで延びている請求項1または2に記載のドリルビット。
- 前記ドリルチップ(105)が、前記ドリルチップの前記角錐形を形成する少なくとも3本のエッジ(113)を含んでいる前記請求項1に記載のドリルビット。
- 前記3本のエッジ(113)の間には少なくとも3つの対応する表面が延在している、前記請求項4に記載のドリルビット。
- 前記少なくとも1つの凹部(107)の第2の部分(111)が前記表面のうちの対応するものに沿って延びる前記請求項5に記載のドリルビット。
- 前記切れ刃の切削能力を強化するために前記ドリルチップ(105)の前記エッジ(113)が、ベベル加工(bevelled)(320)されている前記請求項6に記載のドリルビット。
- ドリルビットの製造方法において、
シャフトを形成する工程と、
ピラミット状角錐状先端を形成する複数のエッジを具えたドリルチップを形成する工程と、
前記少なくとも1つの凹部は、前記シャフトに沿って延びる第1の部分と、前記ドリルチップのエッジに沿って延びる第2の部分とを有し、穴あけ中に生成される切りくずを排出するための前記少なくとも一つ1つの凹部を形成する工程とを備えるとともに、
前記少なくとも1つの凹部の前記第1の部分が、らせん状であり、前記少なくとも一つの凹部の前記第2の部分(111)が直線状でありように形成され、
前記少なくとも一つの凹部(107,317)の第2の部分(111)の深さが、前記ドリルチップ(105,318)の表面に対してその長手方向に沿って変動させることにより、前記ドリルビット(101)の先端(115、319)に隣接する前記エッジ(113、322)の切削能力が、前記シャフト(103、312)に隣接する前記エッジ(113、322)の切削能力より低くなるようにすることを特徴とするドリルビットの製造方法。 - 前記少なくとも一つ1つの凹部(107、317)を形成する工程が、前記少なくとも一つの凹部の第2の部分の深さが変動し、切削要素が前記ドリルチップに沿って移動する際に前記切削要素を前記ドリルチップから外側に移動する工程を包含することを特徴とする前記請求項8に記載のドリルビットの製造方法。
- ドリルチップ(105、318)であって、
シャフト部と、
ピラミット状角錐状先端を形成する複数のエッジ(113、322)を有するチップ部と、
穴あけ中に生成される切りくずを排出するための少なくとも一つの凹部(107、317)とを備え、
該少なくとも一つの凹部(107、317)は、シャフト部分に沿って延びる第1の部分と、前記チップ部(105、318)のエッジ(113、322)に沿って延びる第2の部分とを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの凹部(107、317)の前記第1の部分(109)が、らせん状であり、前記少なくとも一つの凹部(107、317)の前記第2の部分(111)が直線状であり、
前記少なくとも一つの凹部の第2部分の深さが、前記チップの表面に対してその長手方向に沿って変動して、前記チップの先端(115、319)に隣接する前記エッジ(113、322)の切削能力が、前記シャフト部に近いエッジ(113、322)の切削能力より低くなるようにしたことを特徴とするドリルチップ。
