Description
本明細書における発明は、高熱伝導性材料から好ましくはなる金属相もしくは金属溶融物が、セラミック相もしくはプリフォームに結合するという利点を有する。プリフォーム(セラミック相)と金属相との間の界面中の結合もしくは全界面化学は、複合材料もしくは複合部材の高い材料強度及び高められた熱伝導率を保証する。本発明によれば、このことは、複合部材もしくは複合材料のセラミック出発物質が、セラミック主成分及びセラミック副成分を含むことにより、達成される。セラミック副成分は、出発物質に対して、好ましくは約0.05質量%〜約30質量%、好ましくは約1質量%〜約3質量%の割合になる。
本発明による方法の第一の変法の場合に、第一処理工程において、まず最初に多孔質のセラミックプリフォームが、場合により成形を伴い製造される。プリフォームの形は、例えばブレーキディスクの典型的な形であるが、しかしながら他の形であってもよい。前記プリフォームは、例えば、約20体積%又は約30体積%又は約40体積%又は約50体積%又は約60体積%又は約70体積%の多孔度を有する。前記範囲は、例えば約20体積%〜約70体積%、好ましくは約40体積%〜約50体積%にわたる。
Claims (12)
- 複合材料又は複合部材を製造するにあたり、
第一工程において、セラミック出発物質から多孔質のセラミックプリフォームを製造し、かつ第二工程において多孔質のセラミックプリフォームを金属溶融物で溶浸することを含む複合材料又は複合部材の製造方法であって、
セラミック出発物質がセラミック主成分及びセラミック副成分を含み、その際に第一工程及び/又は第二工程の間に、副成分が少なくとも部分的に主成分と反応され、セラミック主成分は、Al 2 O 3 であり、セラミック副成分は、Cu 2 Oであることを特徴とする、複合材料又は複合部材の製造方法。 - 金属溶融物が、高融点金属である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 高融点金属が銅又は銅合金又は純銅である、請求項2記載の方法。
- プリフォームが、20体積%〜70体積%の多孔度を有する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- プリフォームが、30体積%〜50体積%の多孔度を有する、請求項4項記載の方法。
- プリフォームが、金属溶融物に対して及びセラミック主成分に対して不活性であるさらなる成分を含み、その際にさらなる成分は、酸化物、炭化物、窒化物又はホウ化物から形成されている粒子又は繊維からなる、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- セラミック出発物質中のセラミック副成分の割合が、0.05質量%〜30質量%である、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- セラミック出発物質中のセラミック副成分の割合が1質量%〜3質量%である、請求項7記載の方法。
- 請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法により製造される、複合材料又は複合部材。
- 細孔を形成するセラミック相及び前記細孔中に存在する金属相を有する、複合材料又は複合部材であって、
前記複合材料又は複合部材が、500MPaを上回る機械的強度及び100W/mKを上回る熱伝導率を有することを特徴とする、請求項9記載の複合材料又は複合部材。 - 複合材料又は複合部材が、600MPaを上回る機械的強度及び120W/mKを上回る熱伝導率を有する、請求項10記載の複合材料又は複合部材。
- 複合材料又は複合部材が、ブレーキディスク、結合摩擦体又は端面シールである、請求項9〜11のいずれか1項記載の複合材料又は複合部材。
