Claims (22)
- エンジン弁事象を生成するために2つ以上のエンジン弁を作動させるシステムであって、前記システムは、
前記2つ以上のエンジン弁の間に延在する可動弁ブリッジを備え、流体圧によって伸縮可能な第1のピストンを有するロストモーション構成部品が、前記可動弁ブリッジの中に含まれており、
流体圧によって伸縮可能な前記第1のピストンは、前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された孔内に滑動可能に配置されており、
逆止め弁が、流体圧によって伸縮可能な前記第1のピストンの中に配置されている、システム。 - 前記ロストモーション構成部品が、前記弁ブリッジの中に滑動可能に配置された流体圧によって伸縮可能な第2のピストンと、流体圧によって伸縮可能な前記第1のピストンを、流体圧によって伸縮可能な前記第2のピストンに接続する流体圧回路とをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 流体圧によって伸縮可能な少なくとも3つのピストンが、それぞれ、前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された孔内に滑動可能に配置されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記可動弁ブリッジは、ロッカー・アームからの水平方向の負荷を最小化するために、前記2つ以上のエンジン弁の間で水平方向に滑動するように適合されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 弁作動システムであって、前記システムは、
ロッカー・アームと、
2つ以上のエンジン弁と、
前記ロッカー・アームと前記エンジン弁との間に配置された可動弁ブリッジと、
エンジン動作の間に前記エンジン弁の作動を変えるための手段とを備え、
前記変えるための手段が、前記可動弁ブリッジの中の少なくとも一部に設けられ、前記変えるための手段が、マスタ・ピストン、スレーブ・ピストン、および流体圧回路を含み、
前記マスタ・ピストンは、前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された孔内に滑動可能に配置されており、
前記スレーブ・ピストンは、前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された孔内に滑動可能に配置されており、
前記流体圧回路は、前記マスタ・ピストンを前記スレーブ・ピストンに接続する、システム。 - 前記システムが、前記マスタ・ピストンの中に配置された逆止め弁をさらに備える、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムが、前記可動弁ブリッジと前記ロッカー・アームとの間に配置された静止部材をさらに備える、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記変えるための手段が、少なくとも2つのスレーブ・ピストンを備え、それぞれのスレーブ・ピストンは、前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された孔内に滑動可能に配置されている、請求項5に記載のシステム。

前記ロッカー・アームと前記2つ以上のエンジン弁との間に配置された可動弁ブリッジと、
前記可動弁ブリッジの中に滑動可能に配置された、流体圧によって伸縮可能な第1のピストンとを備え、
前記第1のピストンが、前記ロッカー・アームを前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へ選択的に回転させる、システム。 - 前記可動弁ブリッジの中に滑動可能に配置された第2のピストンをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記可動弁ブリッジと前記ロッカー・アームとの間に配置された静止部材をさらに備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記エンジン弁の位置をリセットするための手段をさらに備える、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記リセット手段が、
前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された孔内に配置されたシーリング部材と、
前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された座に対して前記シーリング部材を偏らせるばねと、
前記シーリング部材と選択的に接触するリセット・プランジャとを備える、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記リセット・プランジャの位置が、可変である、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- エンジン弁事象を生成するためにエンジン弁を選択的に作動する方法であって、前記方法は、
ロッカー・シャフトに旋回可能に取り付けられたロッカー・アームと選択的に接触する運動付与手段を提供する段階と、
前記ロッカー・アームと接触する可動弁ブリッジを提供する段階と、
前記可動弁ブリッジと接触するエンジン弁を提供する段階と、
前記可動弁ブリッジに流体圧流体を選択的に供給する段階と、
前記可動弁ブリッジに対する流体圧流体の前記供給に応答して、前記エンジン弁に付与される運動の量を制御する段階とを含む方法。 - 前記可動弁ブリッジから流体圧流体を解放することによって、前記エンジン弁イベントを修正する段階をさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記エンジン弁事象が、主排気事象を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記エンジン弁事象が、主吸気事象を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- エンジン弁事象を生成するために1つ以上のエンジン弁を作動させるシステムであって、
シャフトに旋回可能に取り付けられ、第1の位置と第2の位置との間を回転するように構成され、且つ弁機構要素から運動を選択的に受けるロッカー・アームと、
前記1つ以上のエンジン弁のための可動弁ブリッジと、
前記可動弁ブリッジの中に形成された1つ以上の流体圧流路と、
前記2つ以上のエンジン弁の作動を変えるための手段とを備え、
前記変えるための手段が、前記可動弁ブリッジの中の少なくとも一部に設けられ、前記変えるための手段が、前記1つ以上の流体圧流路と流通する前記可動弁ブリッジの中に滑動可能に配置された少なくとも2つのピストンを備える、システム。 - 前記システムが、前記ピストンのうちの1つの中に配置された逆止め弁をさらに備える、請求項20に記載のシステム。
