表1に実施例、比較例で用いた紫外線硬化材料(A−1,A−2)の調製例を示す。紫外線硬化材料は、表1に示す各成分を、それぞれの表に示す組成(質量部)で、攪拌機を用いて混合し溶解又は分散させ、表1に示す各紫外線硬化材料を得た。
〔(メタ)アクリレート〕
・IBA:イソボルニルアクリレート
・DPGA:ジプロピレングリコールジアクリレート
・HCHPK:1−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン
・UP−1:合成品(合成例1を後述する。)
・UP−2:合成品(合成例2を後述する。)
・N3600:住化バイエルウレタン社製、商品名「デスモジュールN3600」(イソシアネート基を有する化合物として市販品を用いた。)
・BPDZ:ビス(2,4−ペンタンジオナト)亜鉛(II)
・CDEDTC:ジエチルジチオカルバミン酸銅(II)
・DBTDL:ジラウリン酸ジブチルスズ
・BPDC:ビス(2,4−ペンタンジオナト)コバルト(II)
・BTCN:ジブチルジチオカルバミン酸ニッケル(II)
攪拌機を備えた反応容器に、数平均分子量が400のポリプロピレングリコール80g(200mmol)、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート40g(238mmol)とジブチルスズジラウレート0.05gを仕込み、攪拌しながら液温度を室温から50℃まで1時間かけて上げた。その後少量をサンプリングしFT−IRを測定して2300cm−1付近のイソシアネート基の吸収を確認しながら、50℃にて攪拌を続けた。FT−IRの吸収面積から残留イソシアネート基の含有量を計算し、反応前と比較してて約15%まで減少して変化が無くなった時を中間反応終了点とし、無色透明粘調性液体を得た。更に2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート9.84g(84.7mmol)、ペンタエリトリトールテトラキス[3−(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオナート]0.02gを加え、攪拌しながら液温度を室温から50℃まで1時間かけて上げた。その後少量をサンプリングしFT−IRを測定して2300cm−1付近のイソシアネートの吸収を確認しながら、50℃にて攪拌を続けた。FT−IRの吸収面積から残留イソシアネート基の含有量見積り、その吸収が消失した時を反応終了とし、無色透明粘調性液体を得た。これをUP−1とする。UP−1は数平均分子量約3200、末端がアクリレート基の含ウレタン結合化合物である。
攪拌機を備えた反応容器に、1,11−ジアミノ−3,6,9−トリオキサウンデカン40g(208mmol)、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート42g(250mmol)を仕込み、攪拌しながら液温度を室温から50℃まで1時間かけて上げた。その後少量をサンプリングしFT−IRを測定して2300cm−1付近のイソシアネート基の吸収を確認しながら、50℃にて攪拌を続けた。FT−IRの吸収面積から残留イソシアネート基の含有量を計算し、反応前と比較して約15%まで減少して変化が無くなった時を反応終了とし、無色透明粘調性液体を得た。これをUP−2とする。UP−2は数平均分子量約2000、末端がイソシアネート基の含尿素結合化合物である。
表3、表4に、紫外線硬化材料(表1)と連鎖移動剤(表2)の混合物を用いた実施例、比較例を示す。
・VGCF:カーボンナノチューブ(150nm径)(昭和電工社製、VGCF−H)
・PVC:ポリ塩化ビニル(n=1100)(和光純薬社製)
表3又は表4の上部に記載した紫外線硬化材料と連鎖移動剤を表に記載の配合割合(質量部)となるように攪拌機を用いて混合し、溶解又は分散させた。この混合前組成物に対し表の深部硬化率の欄に示したTalc、VGCF、PVCを充填・混合物(紫外線透過抑制)として加え、深部硬化性を確認する事とした。
前記混合前組成物100質量部に対しTalc又はVGCFを30重量部加え、攪拌機を用いて混合し均一に分散充填させた。Talc充填感光性組成物は白色の粘性液体、VGCF充填感光性組成物は黒色の粘性液体となった。
1)PVCレジンを40℃でTHFに溶解させ、30%溶液を作成した。
2)ビーカー中、混合前組成物100質量部に対し、PVCの質量として30質量部又は300質量部に相当する1)の溶液を加え、攪拌機を用いて混合し均一に溶解した。
3)そのまま遮光下で40℃、36時間乾燥してTHFを揮発させ、厚み3cmのPVC混合感光性組成物の塊を得た。
PVC混合感光性組成物は白色のゴム状固体となり、300重量部の方がより白色度合が強かった。
Talc、VGCF充填感光性組成物は流動性を持つため内径10mmの硬質テフロンチューブ(テフロンは登録商標)中に液面の高さが30mmになるように入れ、上面からUVランプ(SEN特殊光源社製100mW/cm2)で10秒間紫外線照射を行い硬化させた。硬化物はチューブに入れたまま、暗室にて常温保管した。
硬化率は、紫外線硬化材料中の硬化重合に関わるアクリレート二重結合の残量をFT−IRにより定量することにより測定した。測定方法は下記の通りである。図1はアクリレートの二重結合のFT−IRの測定結果を示すチャートである。図1に示すようにアクリレートの不飽和二重結合は811cm−1に特有の赤外吸収を持つ(図1のAa吸収)。アクリレートが完全に硬化すると、アクリレートの二重結合が消費されるため、このピークが消失する。また、アクリレートの重合反応に無関係のアミドN−H結合は775cm−1付近に吸収を持つ(図1のAb吸収)。スペクトル面積Aaとスペクトル面積Abの比率Aa/Abを算出し、予め測定しておいた0%硬化、100%硬化のAa/Ab比と対比することによって硬化反応率を算出できる。表5に図1のグラフのピークの相対面積を示す。表5に示すように、際下部0%硬化の場合のAa/Ab比が5.585であり、最上部の100%硬化の場合のAa/Ab比が0であり、中間のピークのAa/Ab比が5.585であるから、下記の計算式より、硬化反応率が82%と算出できる。
硬化反応率=(5.585−1.006)/5.585×100=82%
比較例1、2は連鎖移動剤を含んでいないため、Talc、VGCF、PVCが充填・混合されると、表面から1mmの深さにおいても、硬化率の減衰が見られ、20mmの深さにおいては、紫外線照射による硬化が確認されなかった。紫外線透過抑制物を含んだ感光性組成物の深部硬化については、照射表面近くから、硬化に必要な紫外線量が欠乏し、20mm深部においては硬化物が得られないことがわかる。
(PVC混合感光性シート評価)
通常、紫外線硬化材料とポリマーは溶解パラメータ(SP値)や屈折率を異にするため、混合すると白濁した材料になり、紫外線透過が抑制され、硬化が不十分となってしまう。そこで、柔軟性ポリマーとなるPVCを混合した本発明の感光性組成物を用いることによって、十分な硬化性を持つシートが作成できることを検証する試験を行った。
1)PVCレジンを40℃でTHFに溶解させ、30%溶液を作成した。
2)ビーカー中、実施例2(表3)の混合前組成物100質量部に対し、PVC300重量部に相当する1)の溶液を加え、攪拌機を用いて混合し、均一に溶解した。(実施例17、乾燥前組成)
3)比較例として2)の混合前組成物を比較例2(表4)に変えた溶液を作成した(比較例3、乾燥前組成)
4)200mm×300mmのステンレス製バットに前記2)(実施例17、乾燥前組成)又は前記3)(比較例3、乾燥前組成)の溶液を165g(感光性組成物として60g含有)を入れ、均一に伸ばした後、遮光下で2日間常温乾燥させ、1mm厚の白色シートを得た(実施例17、比較例3)。実施例17、比較例3の両シート共、ゴム状の伸びを示す柔軟なシートとなった。
実施例17、比較例3の両シートをそれぞれ直径2cmのワイヤー束に巻きつけた後、側面二方向からUVランプ(SEN特殊光源社製100mW/cm2)で10秒間ずつ紫外線照射を行い硬化させ、暗室にて10分間放冷した。
紫外線照射後、実施例17のシートは均一に硬化して曲げる事が出来なくなったが、比較例3のシートは紫外線照射後も容易に曲げる事が可能であった。比較例3では、感光性組成物中に含まれるPVCによる光散乱の影響で、紫外線透過が抑制され、均一に硬化反応が進んでいないことがわかる。
Claims (4)
- 紫外線硬化材料と連鎖移動剤と紫外線の透過を抑制する紫外線透過抑制物を含有し、前記連鎖移動剤が、(a)成分としてウレタン結合、尿素結合、イソシアネート基から選択される少なくとも1種を1個以上含む化合物と、(b)成分として含金属化合物とを有し、前記(a)成分100質量部に対して前記(b)成分の配合量が0.0005質量部以上であることを特徴とする感光性組成物。
- 前記連鎖移動剤の(b)成分が、スズ、銅、亜鉛、コバルト、ニッケルから選択される少なくとも1種の金属を含む金属化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の感光性組成物。
- 前記連鎖移動剤の(a)成分と(b)成分の配合比が、質量比で(a)成分:(b)成分=100:0.001〜100:10の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の感光性組成物。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載された感光性組成物を紫外線硬化反応を利用して硬化させてなることを特徴とする硬化物。
