Description
前記絶縁テープは糊剤が塗布された糊剤塗布領域と糊剤が塗布されていない糊剤未塗布領域を有する粘着性の絶縁テープからなり、
前記絶縁テープを、前記糊剤未塗布領域が前記絶縁テープを貼り付けた電極板の活物質層上の中心方向に位置するように、かつ、前記糊剤塗布領域の一部が前記切断端部側の活物質層上に位置するように貼付したことを特徴とする。
アルミニウム箔製の正極芯体14cの両面に正極活物質層14bを塗布し、乾燥、圧延後、幅方向の一方端部側に帯状の正極芯体露出部14aが形成されるようにスリットし、実施例及び比較例で使用する正極極板14を作製した。同じく、銅箔製の負極芯体の両面に負極活物質層を塗布し、乾燥、圧延後、幅方向の一方端部側に帯状の負極芯体露出部15a形成されるようにスリットし、実施例1、2及び比較例で使用する負極極板15を作製した。
Claims (4)
- 正極集電体の表面に正極活物質層を形成した正極極板及び負極集電体の表面に負極活物質層を形成した負極極板の少なくとも一方に、その活物質層部分を含む切断端部に絶縁テープを貼り付け、前記正極極板及び負極極板の間にセパレータを介在させて互いに積層又は巻回した電極群を電解液と共に電池外装体内に密閉した二次電池において、
前記絶縁テープは糊剤が塗布された糊剤塗布領域と糊剤が塗布されていない糊剤未塗布領域を有する粘着性の絶縁テープからなり、
前記絶縁テープを、前記糊剤未塗布領域が前記絶縁テープを貼り付けた電極板の活物質層上の中心方向に位置するように、かつ、前記糊剤塗布領域の一部が前記切断端部側の活物質層上に位置するように貼付したことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記電極板は表裏両面に活物質層が形成されており、前記絶縁テープは前記切断部を含む前記切断部側の両面に貼付されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記絶縁テープは、両端部に糊剤が塗布されない糊剤未塗布領域を有し、これらの糊剤未塗布領域の間に糊剤が塗布された糊剤塗布領域が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記糊剤塗布領域幅と前記活物質層上の中心方向に位置する糊剤未塗布領域幅の和に対する前記糊剤塗布領域幅の割合が25〜95%であり、前記切断端部側の活物質上に位置する前記糊剤塗布領域幅が1.5mm以上であり、前記切断端部側の活物質上に位置しない前記糊剤塗布領域幅が1.5mm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
