Claims (6)
- 第1電極板と、第2電極板と、前記第1電極板と前記第2電極板との間に介在されるセパレータとを備えた、断面形状が略角丸四角形の電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体が収容される収容部を備えた第1ケース部及び、前記第1ケース部と圧着されて前記収容部の周囲に共にシーリング部を形成して前記電極組立体を密封する第2ケース部を含むパウチとを含み、
前記シーリング部は、前記収容部の底面と両側面とにより形成される前記収容部のそれぞれの角部を覆うように、前記収容部の一側面及び他側面を取り囲む対をなす羽部と、前記収容部の底面の一領域を覆うように前記それぞれの羽部から折曲されて延長された延長部とを含んで構成され、
前記それぞれの延長部を延長した仮想の延長線は、互いに接触し、
前記収容部の前記角部と、前記延長部と前記羽部とにより形成される前記シーリング部の折曲部との間には、第1の空間部が形成され、
前記収容部の前記角部と、前記電極組立体の断面形状の角部分との間には第2の空間部が形成され、
前記羽部及び前記延長部は、平坦な主面を有して前記羽部の主面と前記延長部の主面がなす角度は90度であることを特徴とするパウチ型二次電池。 - 前記シーリング部の前記折曲部は、ラウンディング処理されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記シーリング部の前記折曲部の曲率半径は、前記収容部の前記角部の曲率半径よりも小さく形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記延長部と前記羽部とにより形成される前記シーリング部の折曲部の面は面取りされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記延長部には、凸部及び凹部が交互に形成されて、前記凹部の中心部分のみが前記収容部の前記底面と接触することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
- 前記収容部に対応する第2ケース部及び、前記延長部が形成された側とは反対側の前記シーリング部の端部を覆うように形成された第3ケース部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
