Description
図1に示す構造用サンドイッチ板は、上方外側プレート11および下方外側プレート12(これらをフェースプレートとも呼ぶ)を具備してなり、これらはスチール(厚みが例えば0.5mmないし20mmの)又はアルミニウム(厚みが例えば1mmないし50mmの)製のものである。これらフェースプレート11,12間にはその外側周縁に沿ってエッジプレートが溶接され、それにより閉塞キャビティが形成されている。その他、このサンドイッチ板を成形型内で組立て、エッジプレートを必要としないようにしてもよい。これらフェースプレート11,12間のキャビティ内にはプラスチック又はポリマー材料、好ましくはポリウレタンエラストマーなどの熱硬化性材料からなるコア13が配置されている。このコアは厚みが15ないし200mmの範囲のものでよく、ここでは50mmの厚みが適当である。このコア13は、これらフェースプレート11,12に対し十分な強度で接合され、これらプレート間で使用時に予想されるせん断力を伝達するのに十分な機械的特性を有している。なお、この場合、コンパクトに作成することが好ましい。このコア13と、これらフェースプレート11,12との間の接着強度は3MPaよりも大きく、好ましくは6MPaよりも大きいことが要求される。コア材料の弾性率は200MPaよりも大きく、好ましくは250MPaよりも大きいことが要求される。より低い弾性率のものは高温条件に曝されない場合に使用される。例えば通常の使用および占有荷重が1.4kPaないし7.2kPaの程度である床パネルなどの低荷重での用途においては、この接着強度はより低いもの、例えば、約1MPaであってもよい。このコア層の存在により、この構造用サンドイッチ板は、厚みが実質的に大きく、剛性を有意に付加した剛性スチールプレートと同程度の強度および耐荷力を有することになる。このプレートはもちろん平坦である必要はなく、使用目的に応じて必要な任意の形状のものであってよい。
Claims (4)
- 金属製の第1及び第2の外側プレートと;
これら外側プレートに対し、これらの間のせん断力を伝達させるのに十分な強度で、接合されたポリウレタンエラストマー材料からなるコアと;
このコア内に設けられた複数の軽量体と、を具備し、
前記軽量体はポリプロピレン材料からなる中空の球状の固い外皮からなるものであって、
複数の前記軽量体が、前記第1及び第2の外側プレート間において単一層に配置され、
前記軽量体の直径は、20mm以上で100mm以下の範囲であって、かつ、前記第1及び第2の外側プレート間の距離に実質的に等しい長さのものであり、及び
前記第1及び第2の外側プレートは、それぞれ0.5mm以上の厚みを有するものであることを特徴とする構造用サンドイッチ板。 - 前記軽量体が、金属、セラミック又は高張力繊維から作られたものである請求項1に記載の構造用サンドイッチ板。
- 前記軽量体が、複数の突起を有し、それにより前記軽量体相互間の間隙を増大させ、コア材料により占められるコアのキャビティの割合を増大させたものである請求項1又は2に記載の構造用サンドイッチ板。
- 前記軽量体が、不活性ガス又は難燃性物質又は熱若しくは音響絶縁性流体又は部分的真空で充填されている請求項1から3のいずれかの請求項に記載の構造用サンドイッチ板。
