Description
本願は、2006年5月12日に出願された米国仮出願第60/799,894に対して優先権を主張する。これは、本明細書において引用して援用する。
本開示内容は、電気化学的蓄電装置(バッテリー)の構造に関する。より詳細には、本開示内容は、バッテリーを組み立てる際に使用する電極シートを準備するための装置およびその方法に関する。
Claims (13)
- 被覆シートの一部を選択的に取り除くための方法であって、
(a)導電性基板と電極層とを含む被覆シートのある領域を加熱する工程と、
(b)加熱と同時に、加熱される被覆シートの当該領域において、上記電極層の選択された1以上の部分に対して溶媒を塗布する工程と、
(c)下の導電性基板を露出させるため、上記の電極層の溶媒にさらされた部分を機械的に除去する工程と、を備え、
熱フラックスおよび溶媒フラックスが反対方向に流れる滞留時間を設定することを特徴とする方法。 - 上記被覆シートのある領域が60℃以上の温度まで加熱されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記溶媒が加熱されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記溶媒が、溶媒飽和芯もしくは溶媒飽和パッドから塗布されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記溶媒飽和芯もしくは溶媒飽和パッドが100℃以上の温度まで加熱されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
- 上記溶媒は、散布もしくはローリングにより塗布されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記滞留時間が0.1秒〜5秒であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記電極層が、バインダーを含み、上記溶媒が上記バインダーを溶解もしくは膨潤することを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記電極層の溶媒にさらされた部分が機械的剥離により取り除かれることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記機械的剥離が、ブラッシングもしくはスクレーピングを含むことを特徴とする請求項9記載の方法。
- 上記被覆シートをスプール上に巻き取る工程をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記の露出された導電性基板に対して導電性タブを取付ける工程をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 上記タブは、溶接、リベット打ち、もしくは圧接により取付けられることを特徴とする請求項12記載の方法。
