−拡張可能部分は、時計回り方向の少なくとも1つの螺旋巻きの少なくとも1つの第1のセクションと、反時計回り方向の少なくとも1つの螺旋巻きの少なくとも1つの第2のセクションとによって構成されており、前記第1および第2の少なくとも1つのセクションがそれぞれ半径方向に拡張可能であるため、拡張中に少なくとも1つの第1のセクションが反時計回り方向に回転し、少なくとも1つの第2のセクションが時計回り方向に回転するようになっており、

1)ステント1は一実施形態では、体腔温度より高い転移温度を有するNi−Tiなどの形状記憶合金で製造されてもよく、ここで、転移温度はステント1の材料がマルテンサイト相からオーステナイト相に変化する温度である。ステント1は、マルテンサイト構造を有する低温状態で非湾曲および/又は低断面形状に付形される。ステント1を所望の位置に挿入した後、ステントに熱を加え、それによってステント1の温度を転移温度より高くする。この結果、材料がマルテンサイト相からオーステナイト相に変態し、ステント1は保持部分の湾曲4を有するおよび/又は拡張した拡張可能部分3を有する第2の形状に変化する。
2)ステント1は、別の実施形態では、体腔温度で超弾性であるNi−Tiなどの形状記憶合金で製造されてもよい。ステント1は、非湾曲および/又は低断面形状に付形され、ステント1の挿入中、この低断面積形状は機械的に保持される。ステント1を所望の位置に挿入した後、低断面積形状のステント1の機械的保持を解放すると、ステント1は保持部分の湾曲4を有するおよび/又は拡張した拡張可能部分3を有する第2の形状に変化する。
3)更に、ステンレス鋼などの塑性変形可能な材料でステント1を製造してもよい。ステント1は、非湾曲および/又は低断面形状に付形される。ステント1を所望の位置に挿入した後、ステント1の内壁に圧力を加えることによりステント1を直径の大きい形状に塑性変形させる。ステント1内でバルーンを膨張させることによって、これを行ってもよい。

前記ステントを前記体腔内に配置した状態に維持するための少なくとも1つの拡張可能部分と、
を備えるステントであり、
前記保持部分が、前記第1の形状で直線状であるか又は湾曲しており、前記保持部分が前記第2の形状で予備形成された非直線状の湾曲を有し、

- 前記第1の形状の前記接合部が、前記保持部分と前記拡張可能部分との間の相互の回転関係を維持することができ、前記第2の形状の前記接合部が、実質的に同じ前記保持部分と前記拡張可能部分との間の相互の回転関係を維持することができる、請求項3に記載のステント。
- 前記保持部分の湾曲が、前記保持部分と前記拡張可能部分との間の接合部の近傍に位置決めされている、請求項3又は4に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントを製造する材料が前記第1の形状で第1の相を有し、前記第2の形状で第2の相を有し、前記第1の形状と前記第2の形状との間に前記材料の転移相が存在し、前記第1の形状と前記第2の形状との間の転移の導入が前記ステントを加熱することによって実施され得る、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントを製造する材料が前記第1の形状で第1の相を有し、前記第2の形状で第2の相を有し、前記第1の形状と前記第2の形状との間に前記材料の転移相が存在し、前記第1の形状と前記第2の形状との間の転移の導入が前記ステントの機械的解放によって実施され得る、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のステント。
- 前記材料は、前記ステントが意図されている前記ヒト又は動物の体腔の通常の体腔温度より高温で転移相を有する形状記憶合金金属である、請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のステント。
- 前記材料は、
前記ステントが意図されている前記ヒト又は動物の体腔の通常の体腔温度より高温で、37℃〜75℃で前記拡張可能部分の拡張を作動させる転移相、および
前記ステントが意図されている前記ヒト又は動物の体腔の通常の体腔温度より低温で、0℃〜37℃で前記拡張可能部分の湾曲を作動させる転移相、
を有する形状記憶合金金属である、請求項8に記載のステント。 - 前記材料が超弾性金属であり、前記金属は、前記ステントが意図されている前記ヒト又は動物の体腔の通常の体腔温度で超弾性である、請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載のステント。
- 前記ステントは、前記ステントが意図されている前記ヒト又は動物の体腔の通常の体腔温度で塑性変形可能な材料で製造されている、請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載のステント。
- 前記体腔内の前記ステントの的確な物理的配置を得ることができるように、前記ステント自体が、以下の検出の少なくとも1つによって:光学的に、触覚的に、写真で、電子的に、又は放射線学的に、前記体腔外から検出可能なマーカー要素を備える、請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載のステント。
- 前記マーカー要素は、前記ステントの長手方向軸に対する前記ステントの回転の向きをマーキングすることができる、請求項12に記載のステント。
- 前記マーカー要素は、前記ステントの長手方向軸に対する前記ステントの軸の向きをマーキングすることができる、請求項12又は13に記載のステントシステム。
