Description
Claims (6)
- ロータの外周に装着するタービン翼の翼根であって、当該翼根の長手方向に対して左右対称で、且つ先端側に向けて逆クリスマスツリー状に根幅が増減しながら徐々に狭くなるように加工され、前記根幅が狭くなった幅狭部と、前記根幅が広くなった幅広部とを交互に有する前記翼根の粗加工を行うためのスローアウェイ式切削回転工具であって、
軸線回りに回転し、軸線方向先端に向けて段状に小径となるように形成され、前記翼根に形成された前記幅広部の数に対応する複数の段部を側面に有する工具本体と、
当該工具本体の前記各段部の外周かつ周方向に各々形成され、前記軸線方向に対して千鳥状に配列して凹設された少なくとも偶数からなるチップ座と、
当該チップ座に各々嵌め込まれて固定されるチップと
を備え、
前記チップ座は、
第1チップ座と、
第2チップ座と
から構成され、
前記チップは、
前記第1チップ座に固定され、前記長手方向に対して平行な一辺を有する矩形状の第1チップと、
前記第2チップ座に固定され、前記長手方向に対して平行な一辺を有する矩形状の第2チップと
から構成され、
形成されるべき前記翼根の予定形状を前記長手方向に沿った断面で見た場合に、
前記各段部における前記第1チップの前記一辺の回転軌跡の一部と、前記第2チップの前記一辺の回転軌跡の一部とが前記長手方向において同一線上に重なり、
前記第1チップの前記一辺の前記回転軌跡と、前記第2チップの前記一辺の前記回転軌跡とによって、前記段部に対応する前記幅広部となる部分が所定の削り代を残して切削されると共に、前記長手方向に対して平行に、前記段部の前記軸線方向の長さ分だけが切削され、
前記第1チップ及び前記第2チップは右刃を構成し、
前記第1チップ座と前記第2チップ座との間に形成された溝は左ねじれであって、
前記第1チップ及び前記第2チップの前記工具本体のAR(軸方向におけるすくい角)が、前記工具本体の前記軸線方向先端側から後端側に向かうにつれて、前記段部毎に徐々に大きくなることを特徴とするスローアウェイ式切削回転工具。 - 前記ARは、3〜9°の範囲内で可変させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスローアウェイ式切削回転工具。
- 前記ARとは、前記第1チップ及び前記第2チップの前記軸方向に平行な一辺である側刃の前記軸方向に対する角度であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のスローアウェイ式切削回転工具。
- 前記第1チップ及び前記第2チップの前記工具本体のRR(半径方向におけるすくい角)が、前記工具本体の前記軸線方向先端側から前記後端側に向かうにつれて、前記段部毎に徐々に大きくなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載のスローアウェイ式切削回転工具。
- 前記RRは、−2〜5°の範囲内で可変させることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のスローアウェイ式切削回転工具。
- 前記RRとは、前記第1チップ及び前記第2チップの前記軸方向に垂直な一辺である底刃の前記半径方向に対する角度であることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載のスローアウェイ式切削回転工具。
