Claims (13)
- 複数のユニットセル間の電気的な接続と、ユニットセルがその内部に取り付けられている電池モジュールにおけるユニットセルの電圧検出とを同時に実行するバスバーであって、
帯板状に形付けられたバー本体の両端を各々同じ方向に折り曲げることによって形成されるとともに、連結用の小穴あるいは連結用の突出部が設けられた、縦方向の折曲部分と、
前記縦方向の折曲部分の一方を折り曲げることによってバー本体に対し平行となるように形成された水平方向の折曲部分とを備えてなるものであり、
前記ユニットセルの電極端子が前記バスバーのバー本体の後面に接続され、それによって前記ユニットセル間の電気的な接続が達成されてなるものであり、及び
前記バスバーの水平方向の折曲部分が、前記ユニットセルを制御するべく前記ユニットセルの電位差および温度を監視するための電池管理システム(BMS)に直接的に接続されてなる、バスバー。 - 前記バスバーが、ユニットセルの電極端子に前記バスバーを接続できるように基板に取り付けられ、
前記基板が、複数の前記バスバーがそれぞれ取り付けられる複数の開口を有した矩形状の部材であり、
これらの開口に設けられている接続用の突出部あるいは接続用の小穴が、前記バスバーの縦方向の折曲部分に形成されている連結用の小穴あるいは連結用の突出部に対応していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載したバスバー。 - 前記BMSがプリント回路基板(PCB)の形態に構成されてなり、
前記バスバーの水平方向の折曲部分には連結用の小穴あるいは連結用の突出部が設けられ、
それによって水平方向の折曲部分と前記BMSとの間の電気的な接続および機械的な連結が達成されてなるものである、請求項1に記載したバスバー。 - 前記連結用の小穴として、内部にねじ部が形成された連結小穴が設けられ、
BMS基板には前記BMS基板の回路を通って延びる孔が設けられ、
前記バスバーおよび前記BMS基板が前記連結小穴が前記孔の一つと連通するように配置され、前記バスバーおよび前記BMS基板が前記連結小穴と前記孔に挿入される導電性のネジを用いて互いに連結されてなる、請求項3に記載したバスバー。 - 複数のユニットセルを有する電池モジュールであって、
前記ユニットセル間の電気的な接続およびユニットセルの電圧検出が、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載したバスバーを用いて同時に実行されてなる、電池モジュール。 - 前記ユニットセルが前記電池モジュール内に包含されてなり、
前記ユニットセルがフレーム構造に構成された電池カートリッジ内に取り付けられてなる、請求項5に記載した電池モジュール。 - 各電池カートリッジが、一対の外側フレーム部材(a、b)と、これらの外側フレーム部材(a、b)の間に配設された内側フレーム部材(c)とを備えてなり、
1つ若しくは複数のユニットセルが第1の外側フレーム部材(a)と内側フレーム部材(c)の間に取り付けられてなり、
1つ若しくは複数のユニットセルが第2の外側フレーム部材(b)と内側フレーム部材(c)との間に取り付けられてなる、請求項6に記載した電池モジュール。 - 各電池カートリッジにはユニットセルの温度を測定するためのサーミスタが設けられてなる、請求項6に記載した電池モジュール。
- 前記基板に、請求項2に記載されたバスバーが取り付けられてなり、
積み重ねられた複数の電池カートリッジの上端部に前記基板が取り付けられてなる、請求項6に記載した電池モジュール。 - 前記ユニットセルを制御するために前記ユニットセルの電位差および温度を監視する電池管理システム(BMS)が、前記基板の電池カートリッジの上端部分が接触する表面の反対側の表面に直接的に接触するように取り付けられてなる、請求項9に記載した電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールが、
二個以上の電池カートリッジを含むカートリッジ組立体と、
そこを介してカートリッジ組立体が挿入される前側開放部分およびカートリッジ組立体が取り付けられる内部空間を有する箱形のケースとを備えてなる、請求項6に記載した電池モジュール。 - 前記BMSの外側表面が安全プレートにより覆われてなる、請求項10に記載した電池モジュール。
- 請求項5〜12の何れか一項に記載された電池モジュールを複数備えてなり、
各電池モジュールが互いに電気的に接続されてなる、電池パック。
