蛍光粒子の粒子カウントの分析を、ジクロロメタン中に溶解された関連ポリカーボネートサンプルを孔サイズ5μmのTeflonフィルターを通して濾過することによって行う。フィルターディスクを真空中で乾燥し、周囲ダストに対するカバーを用いて保護する。濾過後、フィルター表面を、ドイツ連邦共和国のZeiss AG製のAxioplan 2蛍光顕微鏡によってスキャンする。スキャンニングを励起波長400〜440nmにおいてスキャン1回あたり照明時間40ミリ秒、並びに総合倍率25倍で行う。蛍光粒子を検出し、画像処理ソフトウェア(Zeiss AG製のKS 300 3.0)を使用してデータを評価する。特徴的な色を有する粒子(以下参照。)のみをカウントする。言い換えると、別の粒子、例えばダスト、を無視する。フィルム上に見つかる粒子の表面欠陥のパラメータと同じになるように、蛍光粒子の記録に関するカラーパラメータ(color parameters)を調節する。粒子の色の特性(特徴的な色)を、Zeiss AG製のAxioplan 2顕微鏡に組み込まれたZeiss AG製のAxiocam HRcデジタルカラーカメラを用いてHSI(色相、彩度、明度)カラーモデルによって決定する。このカラーモデルは、例えばHans−Juergen Schlichtによって“Digitale Bildverarbeitung mit dem PC”(PCを用いるデジタル画像処理),Addison−Wesley,1993年に記述されている。蛍光粒子の色を測定すると、平均約80°(最小35°〜最大100°)の色相値、平均150デジット(digits)(最小0〜最大190)の色彩度および平均190デジット(最小130〜最大255)の色明度が見出される。別の粒子、例えばダスト、の色特性は、約113°(最小101°〜最大160°)の色相値、最小0デジット〜最大255デジットのさまざまな色彩度、および平均70デジット(最小20〜最大120)の色明度を示す。フィルターの表面のスキャンニングを、コンピュータで制御された顕微鏡ステージ(Zeiss AG)によって自動的に行う。
以下の試験において、ポリカーボネートは連続界面重合法によって製造される。この目的のために、ポンプ循環リアクターと二つの滞留時間リアクター並びに三つの蒸発段階を使用する。ビスフェノレート溶液(ビスフェノールA)、クロロベンゼンおよび塩化メチレン並びにホスゲンを、それらが反応させられるポンプ循環リアクターに計量添加し、同様に更に水酸化ナトリウム溶液をこのポンプ循環リアクターに計量添加する。追加量の水酸化ナトリウム溶液を第一滞留リアクターの上流で計量添加し、連鎖停止剤溶液(フェノールの塩化メチレン溶液)を計量添加する。触媒を第二滞留リアクターの上流に添加する。N−エチルピペリジンを触媒として使用する。
−直径(D)105mmかつ長さ41×Dのスクリューを有する押出機。このスクリューは脱ガスゾーンを含む;
−デフレクションヘッド(deflection head);
−幅1500mmのスロットダイ;
−水平ローラー配置を有し、第三のローラーが水平に対して±45°旋回性である三本ロール平滑カレンダー;
−ローラーテーブル;
−両側に保護フィルムを適用するためのデバイス;
−排出デバイス(draw−off device);
−巻き付けステーション(coiling station)
ポリカーボネートを、例1に記述されているように製造する。しかしながら、第一蒸発段階における圧力および温度は0.4bar過剰圧力において63℃であり、第二蒸発段階は0.8bar過剰圧力において119℃であり、かつ、第三蒸発段階において1.9bar過剰圧力において176℃である。このポリカーボネート溶液を、実施例1において記述されるように、350℃において蒸発押出機において蒸発させ、次にグラニュール化する。
−直径(D)105mmかつ長さ41×Dのスクリューを有する押出機。このスクリューは、脱ガスゾーンを含む;

−水平ローラー配置を有し、第三のローラーが水平に対して±45°旋回性である三本ロール平滑カレンダー;

−保護フィルムを両側に適用するためのデバイス;

Claims (10)
- ポリカーボネートを三つのフラッシュ段階および蒸発押出機において単離することを包含し、第一フラッシュ段階における温度が0.35〜0.45bar過剰圧力において70〜80℃であり、第二フラッシュ段階における温度が0.75〜0.85bar過剰圧力において125〜135℃であり、かつ、第三フラッシュ段階における温度が1.85〜1.95bar過剰圧力において175〜185℃であることを特徴とする、ポリカーボネートの製造に関する連続界面重合法。
- 任意の二つの連続フラッシュ段階間の温度差が60℃を超えない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 蛍光粒子を単離し、それらをサイズの順に分類する自動評価と一体となった濾過方法が用いられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 製造されるポリカーボネートが、透明蛍光粒子を含有する直鎖ポリカーボネート樹脂であって、前記ポリカーボネートの塩化メチレン溶液を孔サイズ5μmのフィルターを通して濾過した後に残る残留物を波長400〜440nm、総合倍率25倍かつ照明時間40ミリ秒で励起することによって決定される、サイズが15〜250μmである部分の粒子のカウントが1.8カウント/g以下である、直鎖ポリカーボネート樹脂である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子カウントが0.02カウント/g以下であり、かつ、前記粒子の粒径が120μm超である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子カウントが0.1〜1.5カウント/gであり、かつ、前記粒子の粒径が15〜250μmである、請求項4に記載の方法。
- a)直鎖ポリカーボネートを製造し、
b)工程a)において製造されるポリカーボネートをサイズ15〜250μmの蛍光粒子の粒子カウントに関して調査し、
c)サイズ15〜250μmの蛍光粒子の粒子カウント0.1〜1.8カウント/gが工程b)において得られるまで、滞留時間、圧力および温度から成る群から選択される処理パラメータを変えながら工程a)およびb)を繰り返す、
サイズ15〜250μmの蛍光粒子の粒子カウントが0.1〜1.8カウント/gであるポリカーボネートを得る方法。 - 工程c)において粒径が120μm超の粒子の粒子カウントが0.02カウント/gを越えない、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 工程b)において、前記粒子カウントの調査が、材料を塩化メチレンに溶解し、かつ、孔サイズ5μmのフィルターを通して濾過することによって、励起波長400〜440nmかつ照明時間40ミリ秒で総合倍率25倍において行われる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記工程a)における直鎖ポリカーボネートが、請求項1に記載の方法によって製造される、請求項7に記載の方法。
