Description
また本発明は、上記構成のリチウムイオン電池において、第1絶縁層は、前記フッ素系樹脂を含む溶液を第1化成処理層に塗布して乾燥させることにより形成される絶縁性樹脂皮膜であり、前記ヒートシール層は、押出ラミネート法により未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムを第1絶縁層に積層することにより形成されることを特徴としている。
また本発明は、上記構成のリチウムイオン電池において、第1化成処理層が、リン酸クロメート処理で形成されることを特徴としている。

また、包装材料の機械適性(包装機械、加工機械の中での搬送の安定性)、表面保護性(耐熱性、耐電解質性)、二次加工とてリチウムイオン電池用の外装体をエンボスタイプ(図2参照)とする際に、エンボス時の金型と最外層との摩擦抵抗を小さくする目的で、最外層を多層化、最外層表面にフッ素系樹脂層、アクリル系樹脂層、シリコーン系樹脂層等を設けることが好ましい。例えば、

(1)外装体は、片面エンボスタイプとし、凹部は35mm×50mm、凹部の深さは3.5mm、フランジ部(シール部)の幅は5mmとした。
(2)タブは、陽極をニッケル、陰極をアルミニウムとし、いずれも、幅8mm、長さ50mm、厚さ100μmである。
(3)実施例におけるタブの脱脂処理、陽極酸化処理および化成処理は、リチウムイオン電池本体に装着するサイズに断裁したものに対して処理した。実際の製造においては、前述のように、タブ材の金属シートをスリッターした長尺状態で処理することができる。
厚さ30μmのアルミニウム箔の片面に、アミノ化フェノール重合体、フッ化クロム(III)及びリン化合物を含有する化成処理液をロールコート法により2μmの化成処理層を形成し、化成処理層面にフッ素系ポリオールにイソシアネート系硬化剤をポリオールの水酸基(−OH基)1当量に対して1.1当量となるように添加したフッ素系樹脂溶液を乾燥後に3.0g/m2となるように塗布・乾燥し絶縁層を形成した。続いて、30μm厚さの未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムを絶縁層面に加熱圧着し、さらにアルミニウム箔の他方面と25μm厚さの二軸延伸ナイロンフィルムとを2液硬化型ポリウレタン系接着剤を介して積層して外装体材料を得た。そして、この外装体材料をプレス加工し、エンボスタイプの外装体を得た。

陰極用のタブ材として厚さ30μmのアルミニウム箔、陽極用のタブ材として厚さ30μmのニッケル箔を準備し、これらのタブ材を0.1規定の硝酸液に5分間浸漬してから水洗いして乾燥した。続いて、タブ材の両面にレジスト膜をパターン形成した後、不飽和カルボン酸でグラフト変性したポリプロピレン(以下、PPaと呼称する)を15μm厚さとなるようにTダイ押出機で加熱溶融押出しし、その後にPPa面にコロナ放電処理を施し、該コロナ放電処理した前記PPa面にフッ素系ポリオールにイソシアネート系硬化剤をポリオールの水酸基(−OH基)1当量に対して1.1当量となるように添加したフッ素系樹脂溶液を乾燥後に3.0g/m2となるように塗布・乾燥し、水洗後レジスト膜を除去することにより、タブ材の両面に所定パターンの絶縁層を形成した。そして、絶縁層を形成したタブ材の両面にコロナ放電処理を施した後、アミノ化フェノール重合体、三価クロム化合物、および、リン化合物を含有する化成処理液を用いてロールコート法により2μmの化成処理層を形成し、リチウムイオン電池タブを得た。
<電池本体>
上記のようにして得られた陽極用及び陰極用のタブ材をリチウムイオン電池のセル端部に接合して、電池本体とした。
<リチウムイオン電池>
接着性フィルムとして、酸変性LLDPE100μmによってタブを挟持した状態として、電池本体を外装体のエンボス部の中に収納して、蓋体を被覆して周縁をヒートシールしてエンボスタイプのリチウムイオン電池を得た。

Claims (4)
- 正極活物質及び正極集電体からなる正極と、負極活物質及び負極集電体からなる負極と、前記正極及び負極間に充填される電解質とを含むリチウム電池本体と、該リチウム電池本体を収納し周縁部をヒートシールすることにより前記リチウム電池本体を密封する外装体と、前記正極及び負極に連結されるとともに前記外装体により先端が突出するように挟持され、該挟持部分をヒートシールされる金属製のリチウムイオン電池タブとからなるリチウムイオン電池であって、
前記外装体が、少なくとも基材層、バリア層、第1化成処理層、第1絶縁層及びヒートシール層が順次積層された積層体であり、かつ、第1絶縁層が、水酸基を含有するフッ素含有共重合体と、該フッ素含有共重合体の水酸基と反応する有機ポリイソシアネート化合物からなる硬化剤とから形成されるフッ素系樹脂であり、
前記リチウムイオン電池タブは前記外装体に挟持される部分に耐フッ化水素層から成る第2化成処理層が形成されるとともに、第2化成処理層の内側には酸化皮膜から成る第2絶縁層が形成されることを特徴とするリチウムイオン電池。 - 第1絶縁層は、前記フッ素系樹脂を含む溶液を第1化成処理層に塗布して乾燥させることにより形成される絶縁性樹脂皮膜であり、
前記ヒートシール層は、未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムを第1絶縁層に加熱圧着して積層することにより形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン電池。 - 第1絶縁層は、前記フッ素系樹脂を含む溶液を第1化成処理層に塗布して乾燥させることにより形成される絶縁性樹脂皮膜であり、
前記ヒートシール層は、押出ラミネート法により未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムを第1絶縁層に積層することにより形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン電池。 - 第1化成処理層が、リン酸クロメート処理で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載のリチウムイオン電池。
