Description
(1)メイン噴射時期を進角側に変更する、
(2)パイロット噴射量を増量する、
(3)パイロット噴射段数を切り替える、
(4)EGR量を変更する、
といった各処理のいずれか又はそれらの組み合わせが実施されるとよい。これにより、低セタン価の燃料が使用されていることに起因して燃焼が緩慢になっているとしても、燃焼状態の改善を図ることができる。
本発明は上記実施形態の記載内容に限定されず、例えば次のように実施されてもよい。
Claims (6)
- 多気筒内燃機関の各気筒に燃料噴射手段から燃料を噴射供給する燃料噴射システムに適用され、前記内燃機関の運転状態に基づいて前記燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射態様を設定し、該設定した燃料噴射態様に基づいて各気筒の燃料噴射制御を実施する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関の気筒ごとに、燃焼により変動する回転速度を算出する回転速度算出手段と、
前記内燃機関の燃焼運転中において、前記内燃機関の全気筒のうち一部の気筒である操作気筒の前記燃料噴射態様を、操作気筒以外の非操作気筒の燃料噴射態様に対して操作する噴射態様操作手段と、
前記噴射態様操作手段により燃料噴射態様が操作される場合に、前記操作気筒について前記回転速度算出手段により算出された回転速度と、前記非操作気筒について前記回転速度算出手段により算出された回転速度とに基づいて燃料性状を判定する燃料性状判定手段と、
前記内燃機関の運転状態が所定の安定状態に維持されていることを判定する運転状態判定手段と、
を備え、
前記燃料性状判定手段は、前記安定状態の下で前記回転速度算出手段により算出した所定サンプリング数の回転速度に基づいて燃料性状を判定するものであり、
前記噴射態様操作手段は、前記操作気筒となる気筒数を可変に設定するものであり、前記内燃機関が所定の高回転状態である場合に、前記操作気筒として複数個の気筒を設定することを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記燃料性状判定手段は、
前記燃料噴射態様の操作時における前記操作気筒の前記回転速度又は該回転速度から算出した気筒別トルクと、前記非操作気筒の前記回転速度又は該回転速度から算出した気筒別トルクとを比較する第1比較手段と、
前記燃料噴射態様の操作前における前記操作気筒の前記回転速度又は該回転速度から算出した気筒別トルクと、前記非操作気筒の前記回転速度又は該回転速度から算出した気筒別トルクとを比較する第2比較手段と、を有し、
前記第1比較手段の比較結果と前記第2比較手段の比較結果とに基づいて燃料性状を判定する請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記内燃機関の各気筒について前記回転速度算出手段により算出した回転速度又は該回転速度から算出した気筒別トルクのばらつきの範囲を示す散布度を算出する手段を備え、
前記噴射態様操作手段は、前記散布度が最小となる気筒を前記操作気筒として設定する手段を有し、その操作気筒について前記燃料噴射態様を操作する請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記噴射態様操作手段は、前記内燃機関の動力伝達軸のねじれ振動の振幅が最小となる気筒を前記操作気筒として設定する手段を有し、その操作気筒について前記燃料噴射態様を操作する請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記噴射態様操作手段は、前記回転速度に基づいて算出した気筒別トルクが最大となる気筒を前記操作気筒として設定する手段を有し、その操作気筒について前記燃料噴射態様を操作する請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記燃料性状判定手段は、燃焼順序が連続する2気筒が前記操作気筒として設定される場合において、それら2つの操作気筒のうち燃焼順序が後になる気筒の前記回転速度を前記操作気筒の回転速度とし、その操作気筒の回転速度を用いて燃料性状を判定する請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
