Claims (7)
- カムシャフト(42E)を含む動弁装置(39E)を収容する動弁室(26E)をシリンダヘッド(18)との間に形成するヘッドカバー(19)に、排気系に供給される二次空気の供給制御を行うリードバルブ(160)が配設され、該リードバルブ(160)が配設される部分で前記ヘッドカバー(19)には、前記リードバルブ(160)を収容するリードバルブ室(161)を形成するようにして前記カムシャフト(42E)側に膨出した膨出部(162)が一体に設けられる内燃機関において、前記カムシャフト(42E)を前記シリンダヘッド(18)と協働して回転自在に支承するようにして前記シリンダヘッド(18)に締結されるカムキャップ(41E)に、前記膨出部(162)の一部を挿入せしめる凹部(163)が設けられることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記カムキャップ(41E)は、前記カムシャフト(42E)に設けられた複数のカム(170)を相互間に挟むとともに前記シリンダヘッド(18)とともに前記カムシャフト(42E)を回転自在に支承する一対の軸受部(171)と、両軸受部(171)間を連結する連結部(172)とを一体に有し、前記凹部(163)が前記連結部(172)に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 前記連結部(172)に、前記膨出部(162)の一部を配置するようにして欠損部(173)が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の内燃機関。
- 前記カムシャフト(42E)に設けられる一対のカム(170)間に配置されるとともに前記膨出部(162)からさらにカムシャフト(42E)側に膨出する第2膨出部(162a)が、前記膨出部(162)に一体に連設されることを特徴とする請求項2または3記載の内燃機関。
- 第2膨出部(162a)が、前記カムシャフト(42E)の軸方向から見て一対の前記カム(170)の外周の回転軌跡のうち大径である方の回転軌跡(TC)と一致するまで前記カムシャフト(42E)側に膨出、形成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の内燃機関。
- 前記連結部(172)に、前記カムシャフト(42E)および前記膨出部(162)間に配置される補強ブリッジ(174)が該補強ブリッジ(174)の両側に前記欠損部(173)を配置するようにして一体に設けられることを特徴とする請求項3記載の内燃機関。
- 相互に隣接して前記ヘッドカバー(19)に配設される複数のリードバルブ(160)に個別に対応した複数のリードバルブ室(161)が、相互に隣接して前記膨出部(162)内に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関。
