正電極2としてITO膜が設けられたITO付き硝子基板1(倉元製作所(株)製)を用い、アセトン、イソプロピルアルコール(共に(株)関東化学製)、セミコクリーン(フルウチ科学社製)、超純水で各10分間超音波洗浄を行なった後、イソプロピルアルコールの蒸気で洗浄し、乾燥させた。さらに、大気圧プラズマ表面処理装置(松下電工(株)製)で3分間、このITO付き基板1の表面処理を行った。
主溶媒として1,2−ジクロロベンゼン(蒸気圧;160Pa(20℃))と1,2,4−トリクロロベンゼン(蒸気圧;40Pa(25℃))を用い、添加溶媒としてクロロホルム(蒸気圧;21.2kPa(20℃))を用い、これらを容積比5:1:4で混合した混合溶媒に、実施例1と同様にしてP3HTとPCBMを溶解させた溶液を調製した。そしてこの溶液を、スピンコーティングして膜厚200nmの発電層4を形成した。その他は実施例1と同様にして有機発電素子を得た。
主溶媒として1,2−ジクロロベンゼン(蒸気圧;160Pa(20℃))を用い、添加溶媒としてクロロホルム(蒸気圧;21.2kPa(20℃))を用い、これを容積比4:6で混合した混合溶媒に、実施例1と同様にしてP3HTとPCBMを溶解させた溶液を調製した。そしてこの溶液を、スピンコーティングして膜厚200nmの発電層4を形成した。その他は実施例1と同様にして有機発電素子を得た。
溶媒として1,2−ジクロロベンゼン(蒸気圧;160Pa(20℃))の単一溶媒を用い、実施例1と同様にしてP3HTとPCBMを溶解させた溶液を調製した。そしてこの溶液を、スピンコーティングして膜厚200nmの発電層4を形成した。その他は実施例1と同様にして有機発電素子を得た。
主溶媒として1,2−ジクロロベンゼン(蒸気圧:160Pa(20℃))を用い、添加溶媒としてクロロベンゼン(蒸気圧:1.17kPa(20℃))を用い、これを容積比6:4で混合した混合溶媒に、実施例1と同様にしてP3HTとPCBMを溶解させた溶液を調製した。そしてこの溶液を、スピンコーティングして膜厚200nmの発電層4を形成した。その他は実施例1と同様にして有機発電素子を得た。

Claims (1)
- 電子供与性半導体とホール供与性半導体とを混合して形成される発電層を、少なくとも一方は外来光に対して透明である電極の間に備えた有機発電素子の製造方法において、
主溶媒と、この主溶媒に対し蒸気圧が2桁以上高い添加溶媒とからなり、かつ主溶媒と添加溶媒との容量比が、主溶媒>添加溶媒の関係にある混合溶媒に、電子供与性半導体とホール供与性半導体を溶解したものを塗布することで上記発電層を形成し、
発電層の表面の面平均自乗粗さが2nm以下であり、かつ発電層の膜厚のばらつきが、発電層の全体で±10%以内であることを特徴とする有機発電素子の製造方法。
