Claims (10)
- 亜硫酸ガスを含む排煙を吸収液と接触させることにより該排煙中の亜硫酸ガスを除去する排煙処理方法において、該吸収液中に過硫酸を添加することにより該排煙中の水銀を除去することを特徴とする方法。
- 該吸収液中の過硫酸の濃度が500〜5000mg/Lとなるように過硫酸を添加する請求項1記載の方法。
- 該吸収液中にさらにヨウ素、臭素またはそれらの化合物を添加する請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 該吸収液中のヨウ素、臭素またはそれらの化合物の濃度がヨウ素または臭素原子として0.5〜8.0ミリモル/Lとなるようにヨウ素、臭素またはそれらの化合物を添加する請求項3記載の方法。
- 該吸収液と接触させた後の排煙中の水銀濃度を連続的に測定し、該水銀濃度が所定の値以上になったときにヨウ素、臭素またはそれらの化合物の添加を開始し、該水銀濃度が所定の値を下回ったときにヨウ素、臭素またはそれらの化合物の添加を減量もしくは停止する請求項3または4記載の方法。
- 該吸収液中のヨウ素またはヨウ素化合物の濃度をヨウ素原子として0.5〜8.0ミリモル/Lに維持するように、該吸収液中にヨウ素またはヨウ素化合物を添加する一方、該吸収液と接触させた後の排煙中の水銀濃度を連続的に測定し、該水銀濃度が所定の値を下回ったときに過硫酸の添加を停止する請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 該排煙と接触させた後の該吸収液に対して空気による曝気処理を行う請求項1〜6のいずれか記載の方法。
- 該吸収液の酸化還元電位が200〜800mVになるように空気を導入して曝気処理を行い、同時に、該吸収液のpHを4.0〜5.5に調整する請求項7記載の方法。
- 該排煙と接触させる部位と該曝気処理を行う部位の間で該吸収液を循環させる請求項7または8記載の方法。
- 塔内に該吸収液の連続相を有するガス分散型吸収塔を用い、該連続相の上部に該排煙を導入して該吸収液と接触させ、該連続相の下部に空気を導入して該吸収液の曝気処理を行い、該吸収液を塔内で攪拌するか、または塔外に設けたポンプを通して循環させる請求項9記載の方法。
