Claims (6)
- 攪拌羽根を備えた機械式攪拌装置を用い、攪拌羽根を回転させて溶融鉄と精錬用フラックスとを攪拌混合して溶融鉄を精錬するに際し、下記の(1)式の関係を満たすように前記攪拌羽根の回転数と攪拌羽根の直径のどちらか一方または両者を調整することを特徴とする、溶融鉄の精錬方法。

但し、(1)式において、Fは、攪拌羽根の回転数(rpm)、Rは、攪拌羽根の直径(m)である。 - 前記精錬用フラックスは、CaOを主成分とする精錬用フラックスであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の溶融鉄の精錬方法。
- 前記精錬用フラックスは、フッ素含有量が1質量%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の溶融鉄の精錬方法。
- 精錬中、攪拌羽根が回転している期間の50%以上の期間で、攪拌羽根の回転数と攪拌羽根の直径とが(1)式の関係を満たすことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項3の何れか1つに記載の溶融鉄の精錬方法。
- 精錬開始時の攪拌羽根の回転開始から少なくとも5分間が経過するまでは、攪拌羽根の回転数と攪拌羽根の直径とが(1)式の関係を満たすことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項4の何れか1つに記載の溶融鉄の精錬方法。
- 前記溶融鉄が溶銑であり、前記精錬が脱硫処理であることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項5の何れか1つに記載の溶融鉄の精錬方法。
