Claims (26)
- 患者の体管腔内で使用するための医療デバイスであって、該医療デバイスが管状シースを備え、この管状シースが

前記再構成可能セクションの軸方向長さを変えるように且つ前記管状シースに半径方向に突出する部分を形成しないように構成され、前記再構成可能セクションに対して近位に配設された弾性バイアスセクションとを備え、
前記医療デバイスが更に、細長い制御要素を備え、該細長い制御要素が、
前記管状シース内にその長手方向に配置できる寸法を有し、近位端および遠位端を画定し、前記管状シースおよび前記細長い制御要素は、その実質的に対向する端部で互いに固定状態に取り付けられており、前記固定状態の取り付けによって前記管状シースにより前記細長い制御要素に引張力を加えられ、前記引張力が、前記医療デバイスを、変形された第1の形状に偏位するのに十分であり、前記変形された第1の形状は、前記医療デバイスが前記変形された第1の形状とは異なる第2の形状を取るように、前記弾性バイアスセクションによる前記引張力の変化によって変更可能であり、前記引張力による前記偏位は、前記医療デバイスが前記変形された第1の形状にある間、前記医療デバイスを前記体管腔に固定するように前記固定化セクションを付勢するのに十分であり、前記操向可能セクションは、前記引張力の前記変化に応答して曲がることができる、
