Description
エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物(架橋剤)を含む太陽電池用封止膜において、
該有機過酸化物として、下記式I:
で表される化合物を含み、且つ黄変防止のために、2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン紫外線吸収剤を含有し、ビス(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケート光安定剤を実質的に含有していないことを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜;及び
エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体及び有機過酸化物(架橋剤)を含む太陽電池用封止膜において、
該有機過酸化物として、下記式II:
[但し、R3がメチルを表し、R4 及びR5がt-ブチルを表す。]
で表されるジアルキルパーオキサイドを含み、且つ黄変防止のために、2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン紫外線吸収剤を含有し、2−ヒドロキシ−4−オクチルオキシベンゾフェノン紫外線吸収剤を実質的に含有していないことを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜により達成することができる。
で表されるジアルキルパーオキサイドを含み、且つ黄変防止のために、ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を含有し、モノヒドロキシアルコキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を実質的に含有していないことを特徴とする太陽電池用封止膜により達成することができる。
(1)式Iにおいて、R1がt−ブチルを表し、そしてR2が2−エチルヘキシル基を表す。
(2)上記ヒンダードアミン系光安定剤が、ビス(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケートである。実質的に使用しない量とは、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.1質量部未満(特に0.01質量部未満)である。
(3)式IIにおいて、R3がメチルを表し、そしてR4及びR5がt−ブチルを表す。
(4)上記モノヒドロキシアルコキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤が2−ヒドロキシ−4−オクチルオキシベンゾフェノンである。実質的に使用しない量とは、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.2質量部未満(特に0.02質量部未満)である。
(5)ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤が、2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノンである。
(6)ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.01〜1.0質量部含有している。上記有機過酸化物を用いた際の黄変防止効果が優れている。
(7)封止膜は、有機過酸化物を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜5.0質量部含有している。
(8)封止膜は、架橋助剤(ラジカル重合性基を有する化合物)を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜5.0質量部含有している。
(9)エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル単位が、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して20〜35質量%の範囲である。優れた透明性を示す。
表面側透明保護部材と裏面側保護部材との間に封止膜を用いて太陽電池用セルを封止してなる太陽電池において、該太陽電池用セルと裏面側保護部材との間に介在させる封止膜として上記の太陽電池用封止膜を用いて架橋一体化されていることを特徴とする太陽電池にもある。

4 シリコン発電素子
で表されるパーオキシエステルを使用した場合は、黄変防止のために、ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を使用し、従来から一般的に使用されているヒンダードアミン系光安定剤を実質的に使用しない。ヒンダードアミン系光安定剤は、ラジカル補足剤であり、光に対する安定剤として開発されたものであるが、最近では広い酸化防止機能を有するものとして知られている。このため本発明者が従来使用されてきた光安定剤について再評価したところ、上記有機過酸化物との組合せでは好ましくない結果が得られた。特に、ヒンダードアミン系光安定剤を上記ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を併用したときに、顕著にその傾向があることが明らかとなった。その機構については不明である。
で表されるジアルキルパーオキサイドを使用した場合、黄変防止のために、ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を使用し、モノヒドロキシアルコキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を実質的に使用しない。モノヒドロキシアルコキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤は、紫外線吸収剤として従来から使用されているものであるが、本発明者の紫外線吸収剤の再評価よれば、上記有機過酸化物との組合せでは好ましくない結果が得られた。特に、モノヒドロキシアルコキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤を上記ジヒドロキシジメトキシベンゾフェノン系紫外線吸収剤と併用したときに、顕著にその傾向があることが明らかとなった。
[EVA樹脂組成物配合1(質量部)]
EVA樹脂: 100
(酢酸ビニル含有量28重量%、メルトフローレート15g/10分)
架橋剤1: 0.35
(t−ブチルパーオキシ−2−エチルヘキサノエート)
架橋助剤(トリアリルイソシアヌレート): 0.5
紫外線吸収剤1: 0.03
(2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン)
上記配合のEVA樹脂組成物を用いて、80℃でカレンダー成形して、EVAフィルムを成膜した。フィルムの厚さは600μmであった。
EVA樹脂組成物配合1にさらに、ヒンダードアミン系光安定剤[ビス(2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−ピペリジル)セバケート]を0.1質量部加えた以外、実施例1と同様にして太陽電池を製造した。

(酢酸ビニル含有量26重量%、メルトフローレート4g/10分)
架橋剤2: 1.3
(2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ビス(t−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン)
架橋助剤(トリアリルイソシアヌレート): 2.0
紫外線吸収剤1: 0.03
(2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン)
ヒンダードアミン系光安定剤 0.1
上記配合のEVA樹脂組成物を用いて、80℃でカレンダー成形して、EVAフィルムを成膜した。フィルムの厚さは600μmであった。
EVA樹脂組成物配合2において、紫外線吸収剤1(2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン)を使用せず、その代わりに紫外線吸収剤2(2−ヒドロキシ−4−オクチルオキシベンゾフェノン)を0.2質量部使用した以外、実施例2と同様にして太陽電池を製造した。
(1)耐熱性(耐熱130℃耐久試験)
実施例及び比較例で得られた封止用EVAフィルムを2枚のフロートガラスに挟み、真空ラミネータを用い、90〜100℃の温度、2分の脱気時間及び8分のプレス時間の条件で予備成形を行い、次いで150℃に設定した耐熱オーブンで45分間架橋させた。
(1)と同様にして得た架橋EVAフィルムを、63℃、50%RHの環境下で紫外線照射(条件100mW/cm2)を1000時間行い、照射による黄変の程度を調査するために、保管前後のYI値の差(ΔYI値)を求めた。
Claims (7)
- 2,2−ジヒドロキシ−4,4−ジメトキシベンゾフェノン紫外線吸収剤を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.01〜1.0質量部含有している請求項1又は2に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 有機過酸化物を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜5.0質量部含有している請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 架橋助剤を、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して0.1〜5.0質量部含有している請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体の酢酸ビニル単位が、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体100質量部に対して10〜36質量%の範囲にある請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜。
- 表面側透明保護部材と裏面側保護部材との間に封止膜を用いて太陽電池用セルを封止してなる太陽電池において、該太陽電池用セルと裏面側保護部材との間に請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の太陽電池用封止膜を介在させ、架橋一体化されていることを特徴とする太陽電池。
