Description
燃料極(アノード)側では、 H2→2H++2e-
酸化剤極(カソード)側では、 (1/2)O2+2H++2e-→H2O
燃料電池全体としては、 H2+(1/2)O2→H2O
の反応が起こる。この電池反応により、燃料極(アノード)側では、生成水と共に、未反応の水素が水素排出口106を介して循環通路11に排出される。

Claims (10)
- 燃料電池と、
前記燃料電池からの排出ガスが流通する排出ガス通路と、
前記排出ガス通路に備えられた気液分離器と、
前記排出ガス通路に設置されて排出ガスに混在する粒子状の水分中に含まれる不純物を除去する不純物除去部材と、を有し、
前記不純物除去部材は、イオン交換樹脂部材を備え、前記気液分離器内の内壁面に配設され、当該気液分離器のガス出口近傍に近づくほど、流通抵抗が大きくなるよう構成されている燃料電池システム。 - 前記不純物除去部材を水素循環系の排出ガス通路に配設してなる請求項1記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記不純物除去部材に、撥水処理を施してなる請求項1又は請求項2に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記撥水処理は、前記不純物除去部材の外面に撥水性部材を配設することである請求項3記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記撥水処理は、前記不純物除去部材を撥水性部材からなる収容体内に収容することである請求項3記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記不純物除去部材の体積変化に追従して変形可能な追従部材を当該不純物除去部材の外面と前記気液分離器の内壁面との間に設けてなる請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記不純物除去部材の内部に、当該不純物除去部材の体積変化に追従して変形可能な第2の追従部材を複数分散させてなる請求項6記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記不純物除去部材の外周に、前記追従部材を配設してなる請求項6または請求項7記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記追従部材が多孔質材料からなる請求項6ないし請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記不純物除去部材が気液分離器内に前記追従部材と接するように配設されると共に、前記追従部材が弾性部材を備えてなり、当該追従部材を当該気液分離器内の気液の流路から外れた位置に配設してなる請求項6記載の燃料電池システム。
