Description
Claims (25)
- 工業用プロセス制御又は監視システムの2線式プロセス制御ループに結合するための診断装置であって、
2線式プロセス制御ループから、ディジタル値を表す複数の離散アナログ信号レベルに変調された、2線式プロセス制御ループ上のディジタル変調されたアナログ信号を含むディジタル通信信号を受信するように構成されたディジタル通信回路と、
2線式プロセス制御ループに直列に結合され、ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号に基づいて2線式プロセス制御ループの動作を診断するように構成された診断回路と、
を含む診断装置。 - ディジタル通信回路が検出抵抗を含む、請求項1記載の装置。
- ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号をディジタル化するように構成されたアナログ・ディジタル変換器を含む、請求項1記載の装置。
- 診断回路が、ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号の振幅を監視する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 診断回路が、ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号の波形を監視する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 診断回路が、2線式プロセス制御ループ上のディジタル通信のビットエラーレート(BERT)を監視する、請求項1記載の装置。
- 診断回路が、2線式プロセス制御ループのインピーダンスを監視する、請求項1記載の装置。
- インピーダンスが、2線式プロセス制御ループ上の高周波信号の受信によって監視される、請求項7記載の装置。
- 診断回路が、ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号のパラメータと、記憶された値とを比較し、応答的に診断出力を提供する、請求項1記載の装置。

2線式プロセス制御ループに結合された複数の装置から、ディジタル値を表す複数の離散アナログ信号レベルに変調されたディジタル変調されたアナログ信号を含むディジタル通信信号を受信することと、
ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号の特性を測定することと、
2線式プロセス制御ループへの直列接続を通して測定されたディジタル変調されたアナログ信号の測定された特性に基づいて、2線式プロセス制御ループの動作を診断することと、
診断に基づいて出力を提供することと、
を含む方法。 - 特性を測定することが、ディジタル変調されたアナログ信号の振幅を監視することを含む、請求項18記載の方法。
