Description
プロセス温度送信機は、複数のリード線を有する少なくとも一つの温度センサとともに動作可能である。この温度送信機は、少なくとも一つの温度センサに動作可能に接続されて、該温度センサの電気的パラメータの指示を提供する測定回路を含む。コントローラ(制御装置)は、測定回路に接続され、前記指示を取得してプロセス温度出力を提供する。電流源は、複数のリード線に試験電流を同時に加える。診断回路は、各リード線上の電圧応答を測定して、温度センサの診断指示を提供する。
Claims (20)
- 複数のリード線を有する少なくとも一つの温度センサとともに動作可能なプロセス温度送信機であって、
前記少なくとも一つの温度センサに動作可能に接続可能で、前記少なくとも一つの温度センサの電気的パラメータを示す情報を提供する測定回路と、
前記測定回路に接続されて、前記情報を取得してプロセス温度出力を提供するコントローラと、
前記複数のリード線の各々に対して試験電流を同時にかつ個別に注入するように構成された電流源と、
前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答を同時にかつ個別に検出し、前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答に基づいて、前記少なくとも一つの温度センサに関連する診断結果の情報を提供するように構成された診断回路を具備したプロセス温度送信機。 - 前記温度センサが、RTDである請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記複数のリード線が、4つのリード線を含む請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、電気的短絡を示す請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、オープン状態のリード線を示す請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、センサの劣化を示す請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、固有のリード線抵抗およびシステム静電容量によって各リード線上に生成される時定数を示す請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記複数のリード線の各々に対して試験電流を同時にかつ個別に供給するための前記電流源が、アナログ−デジタルコンバータ用途の特定用途向け集積回路(ASIC)内に配置されている請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答の上昇時間に基づいている請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答の下降時間に基づいている請求項1に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答の上昇時間にも基づいている請求項10に記載のプロセス温度送信機。
- プロセス温度送信機と接続される少なくとも一つの温度センサの接続部を診断する方法であって、
前記少なくとも一つの温度センサの複数のリード線の各々に対して試験電流を同時にかつ個別に注入すること、
前記少なくとも一つの温度センサの前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答を同時にかつ個別に検出すること、
前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答に基づいて、前記少なくとも一つの温度センサに関連する診断結果の情報を生成すること、
を含む方法。 - 前記少なくとも一つの温度センサが、複数の温度センサを含む請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の温度センサが、RTDである請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、電気的短絡を示す請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、オープン状態のリードを示す請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、センサの劣化を示す請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記診断結果の情報が、前記複数のリード線の各々の固有のリード線抵抗およびシステム静電容量によって生成される時定数を示す請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、温度センサによる温度測定前に実行される請求項12に記載の方法。
- 複数のリード線を有する少なくとも一つの温度センサとともに動作可能なプロセス温度送信機であって、
前記少なくとも一つの温度センサの前記複数のリード線の各々に対して試験電流を同時にかつ個別に注入するための手段と、
前記少なくとも一つの温度センサの前記複数のリード線の各々の上の電圧応答を同時にかつ個別に検出するための手段と、
前記複数のリード線の各々の上の前記電圧応答に基づいて、前記少なくとも一つの温度センサに関連する診断結果の情報を生成するための手段を具備するプロセス温度送信機。
