Claims (2)
- 長さ方向に延びる棒材の外壁面に残留する残留物を除去する棒材残留物除去装置であって、
前記棒材をこれの長さ方向に沿って搬送する搬送手段と、
前記搬送手段で搬送される前記棒材の外壁面に対面可能な可撓性をもつ清掃部材を保持する保持部材と、
前記保持部材で保持されている前記清掃部材を、前記搬送手段で搬送中の前記棒材の搬送方向と交差する方向において押し当て方向に移動させ、前記押し当て方向への移動に伴い、前記搬送手段で搬送中の前記棒材の前記外壁面に前記清掃部材を押し当てて前記残留物を前記棒材から除去する駆動部と、を具備し、
前記保持部材は、前記清掃部材の重力方向における上部を保持する保持具と、前記清掃部材の重力方向における下部に連結され、前記清掃部材が前記棒材の前記外壁面に押し当てられていないとき、前記清掃部材を重力により重力方向に沿って吊持させる錘部と、を備え、
前記駆動部が前記清掃部材を押し当て解除方向に移動させるとき、前記錘部の重量により前記清掃部材に衝撃的に張力が作用し、衝撃的な前記張力により前記清掃部材を緊張させて、前記清掃部材に残留している前記残留物を清掃部材から脱落させることを特徴とする棒材残留物除去装置。 - 請求項1において、前記駆動部は、駆動源と、前記駆動源により移動される転動体とを備えており、前記転動体は、前記清掃部材に接触する接触位置および前記清掃部材に非接触となる非接触位置に切り替え可能とされていることを特徴とする棒材残留物除去装置。
