Description
本実施形態によれば、屈曲部が突出面だけでなく、その上,下端面に突設した突起によっても挿入孔内で支持されるので、支持強度がより一層大きいコネクタが得られるという効果がある。
第1実施形態にかかるコネクタ10は、図1ないし図4に示すように、大略、ベース11と、第1接続端子20と、第2接続端子30と、操作レバー40とからなるものである。
まず、前記ベース11の挿入孔16に第2接続端子30を側方からスライドさせ、係止部(先端部)31および係止爪33を前記ベース11に係止して組み付ける。このとき、ベース11の検査用孔17から係止部31を目視でき、第2接続端子30が所定の位置に正確に位置決めされたことを確認できる。
図4に示すように、前記ベース11の開口部15からFPC50の先端部51を前記ベース11の内側面に突き当たるまで挿入する。ついで、操作レバー40を回動して押し倒すと、操作レバー40の操作用カム部41が回動して第1接続端子20の操作受け部24aを押し上げる。このため、操作接点片24が傾き、可動接点24bがFPC50の先端部51の上面に設けた接続部52に圧接するとともに、先端部51を下方に押し下げるので、第2接続端子30の固定接点32がFPC50の先端部の下面に設けた接続部52に圧接する。
また、第1接続端子20が固定されるベース11の縁部と前記第1接続端子20の屈曲部28との間に、操作レバー40の回動支点となる軸受け部27を配置してあるので、操作レバー40の動作が安定する。このため、第1接続端子20の可動24b接点の変位量が安定し、FPC50に対する接触力が安定するので、接触信頼性が向上する。
さらに、屈曲部28と連結部23との間に位置する基部を支点にして第1接続端子20の操作接点片24が、FPC50の引き回しに追従できるので、接触信頼性がより一層向上するという効果がある。
そして、本実施形態によれば、固定接点部32の頂部に凹みがあるので、接触信頼性が向上するとともに、FPC50が抜けにくくなるという利点がある。
本実施形態によれば、検査用凹部18を1つ設けるだけでよいので、金型の製造が容易になるという利点がある。

Claims (3)
- ベースの対向する両側面に第1挿入孔および第2挿入孔を同一直線上にそれぞれ設け、前記第1挿入孔および前記第2挿入孔に第1接続端子の支持接点片および第2接続端子をそれぞれ側方から挿入するとともに、前記ベースの一方側の側面に操作レバーを回動可能に装着する一方、前記ベースの他方側の側面に形成した開口部からFPCを挿入し、前記操作レバーを回動させて前記支持接点片の先端部から連結部を介して接続された操作接点片の一端部を操作することにより、前記操作接点片の他端部に設けた可動接点と前記第2接続端子の固定接点とで前記FPCの先端部を挟持するとともに、前記FPCの先端部の表裏面にそれぞれ並設した接続部に、前記第1接続端子の可動接点と前記第2接続端子の固定接点とをそれぞれ接続するコネクタであって、
前記ベースの底面に、前記第1挿入孔および第2挿入孔に連通し、かつ、挿入された全ての第1接続端子の先端部および挿入された全ての第2接続端子の先端部を目視できる検査用孔を設けたことを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 第1接続端子の支持接点片に、挿入方向に直交する側方に突き出すように少なくとも1つの屈曲部を形成し、前記屈曲部の突出面を圧入溝の内側面に圧接させて支持したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 屈曲部の上,下端面に、第1挿入孔の上,下面の少なくともいずれか一方に圧接する突起を突設したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
