スーパーマーケットから入手したグリーンキャベツを、上記提供のホウレン草および豆のサンプルについての記述のとおりに処理した。斑点細菌病菌DC3000レベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手した緑豆は、上記実施例の記述のとおりに処理した。斑点細菌病菌DC3000レベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手したスノーピース(エンドウ)は、上記実施例の記述のとおりに処理した。斑点細菌病菌DC3000レベルの変化が認められる。
結果を表2に示す。
スーパーマーケットから入手した豆を、上記の第2の実験(表3)で提供したホウレン草サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。TVCレベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手したグリーンキャベツを、上記提供のホウレン草(第1および第2実験)および豆(第2実験)サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。ホウレン草と豆と同様の斑点細菌病菌DC3000(Pseudomonas syringae)DC3000のCFUおよびTVCの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手した緑豆を、第2実験(表3)における上記提供のホウレン草サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。TVCレベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手したスノーピース(エンドウ)を、上記の第2実験(表3)における提供ホウレン草サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。TVCレベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手したリンゴを、上記の第2実験(表3)における提供ホウレン草サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。TVCレベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手したオレンジを、上記の第2実験(表3)における提供ホウレン草サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。TVCレベルの変化が認められる。
スーパーマーケットから入手したキーウィフルーツを、上記の第2実験(表3)における提供ホウレン草サンプルに関する記述のとおりに処理する。TVCレベルの変化が認められる。

Claims (22)
- 生鮮産物を-25℃から+45℃の範囲内の温度で保存する方法であって、前記生鮮産物を可視光スペクトル中の赤色光、および赤色光と青色光の組合せから選択される少なくとも1種類の波長で処理することによって、保存された産物の総生菌数を抑制する工程を含む、方法。
- 前記処理工程が、少なくとも1種類の発光手段からの前記光を生鮮産物の表面に照射する工程を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物が乳製品、肉、魚、鶏肉および収穫植物部位から選択される、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物を-25℃から0℃の範囲の温度で保持する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記温度範囲が-15℃から0℃である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物を-0.5℃から16℃の範囲の温度で保持する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記温度が0℃から10℃の範囲にある、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物が収穫植物材料である、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物の表面に当る光の強度が、5マイクロアインシュタイン±3マイクロアインシュタインから2000マイクロアインシュタイン±250マイクロアインシュタインの範囲にある、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記青色光の波長が420nmから480nmの範囲にある、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記赤色光の波長が600nmから700nmの範囲にある、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記光が青色光と赤色光の組合せであり、青色光:赤色光のエネルギー比が、10:1から1:10の範囲にある、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 1個または複数の発光手段からの光を、所定の時間間隔で前記生鮮産物の表面に照射する工程を含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記時間間隔がパルスまたは連続時間間隔から選択される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物が、野菜部位、サラダ用植物部位および果実などの食用植物部位から選択される、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物が、ブロッコリーの房、カリフラワーの房などの食用アブラナ科植物、グリーンキャベツ、ホワイトキャベツおよびレッドキャベツなどの葉物アブラナ科植物、レタス、セロリ、ピーマン、トマト、緑豆、エンドウ、アスパラガス、キャベツ結球からのカット植物部位、リンゴ、ナシ、マンゴー、バナナや、オレンジ、ナシ、レモン、ライム、キーウィフルーツなどの柑橘系果実などの収穫果実、および未熟トマトなど他の緑色または未熟果実を含めた植物質から選択される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記生鮮産物が、高等植物の緑茎、がく、および葉、藻細胞、コケ原糸体、ならびに食用のまたは口に合わない高等および/または下等植物種の植物細胞培養物から選択される、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 収穫植物組織を-25℃から+45℃の範囲内の温度で保存する方法であって、前記収穫植物組織を可視光スペクトル中の赤色光、および赤色光と青色光の組合せから選択される少なくとも1種類の波長で処理することによって、前記収穫植物組織の総生菌数を抑制する工程を含む、方法。
- 総生菌数の抑制が、前記収穫植物組織の表面病原菌数を変化させる、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 光エネルギーが、少なくともlog1の桁での総生菌数の減少をもたらす、請求項18または19に記載の方法。
- 総生菌数が少なくともlog1.5の桁で減少する、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 総生菌数が少なくともlog2の桁で減少する、請求項21に記載の方法。
