Description
図1は本発明の一実施の形態による回転角度検出装置の分解斜視図であり、同図において、1は絶縁樹脂または金属製の回転体で、側面外周には平歯車部1Aが形成されると共に、中央部には挿通するステアリング(図示せず)の軸と係合する係合部1Bが設けられている。

Claims (1)
- 中空筒部が形成されたケースと、このケースの上記中空筒部の内周に対して隙間が設けられて回転可能に保持される中空筒部が形成され、ステアリングに連動して回転する回転体と、この回転体に連動して回転する第一の検出体と、この第一の検出体に連動して回転する第二の検出体と、上記第一及び第二の検出体の回転を検出する第一及び第二の検出手段と、上記第一及び第二の検出手段からの検出信号により上記回転体の回転角度を検出する制御手段からなり、上記回転体の上記第一の検出体との対称位置に、補助検出体を係合させると共に、この補助検出体の回転を検出する補助検出手段を設け、この補助検出手段からの検出信号を制御手段が検出し、上記制御手段が上記補助検出手段と上記第一の検出手段からの検出信号を比較して、一方が回転し他方が回転していない場合には、回転している方の検出信号のデータを用い、双方とも回転している場合には、回転角度として大きな方の検出信号のデータを用い回転体の回転角度を各々検出する回転角度検出装置。
