図1は本発明の一実施の形態による回転角度検出装置の平面図、図2は同断面図であり、同図において、1は外周に平歯車部1Aが形成された絶縁樹脂または金属製の回転体で、中央部には挿通するステアリング(図示せず)の軸と係合する係合部1Bが設けられている。

Claims (2)
- ステアリングに連動して回転する回転体と、この回転体に連動して回転する第一の検出体と、この第一の検出体に連動して回転する第二の検出体と、上記第一及び第二の検出体の回転を検出信号として検出する第一の検出手段及び第二の検出手段と、上記第一及び第二の検出手段からの検出信号により上記回転体の回転角度を検出する制御手段からなり、さらに上記回転体と連動して回転する補助検出体と、この補助検出体の回転を検出信号として検出する補助検出手段を設けると共に、上記第一及び第二の検出体と上記補助検出体の回転速度を各々異なるものとし、上記第一及び第二の検出手段、上記第二の検出手段と上記補助検出手段、上記第一の検出手段と上記補助検出手段からの各検出信号によって、上記制御手段が回転体の仮の角度を各々演算し、これらの演算値が所定範囲内であった時に、上記第一及び第二の検出手段からの各検出信号によって上記回転体の角度を検出する回転角度検出装置。
- いずれかの演算値が所定範囲外の時には、制御手段が所定の警告信号を出力する請求項1記載の回転角度検出装置。
