Claims (2)
- 回転砥石の外周に形成された径の異なる複列の溝研削部を外輪の軌道溝研削部位に押付け、その回転砥石と外輪の双方を、各軸心回りに回転させて、外輪の内周に溝底径が異なる複列の軌道溝を同時に研削するようにした車輪軸受装置における外輪軌道溝の研削方法において、
前記回転砥石が、小径側溝研削部を外周に有する第1回転砥石と、大径側溝研削部を外周に有する第2回転砥石とからなり、前記第1回転砥石の砥粒の粒度を前記第2回転砥石の砥粒の粒度より大きくし、前記第1回転砥石と第2回転砥石のそれぞれを砥石軸の小径軸部上に配置すると共に、両回転砥石間に配置される間座により前記複列の軌道溝の間隔に応じて前記第1回転砥石と第2回転砥石の間隔を調整し、前記砥石軸の回転により第1回転砥石と第2回転砥石のそれぞれを一体回転させて複列の軌道溝を同時に研削することを特徴とする車輪軸受装置における外輪軌道溝の研削方法。 - 前記小径側溝研削部の砥石結合度を大径側溝研削部の砥石結合度より高くした請求項1に記載の車輪軸受装置における外輪軌道溝の研削方法。
