Description
・酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に、特に、酸素O2および/または窒素N2を含むガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマ中に存在する、酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に、熱を帯びる種類の化合物;および
・前記化合物と熱接触しているサーモクロミック染料。
・本発明の滅菌インジケータをプラズマに接触させること;および
・前記インジケータの染料の色を、リファレンスの色と比較すること。

=(ΔL*2+Δa*2+Δb*2)1/2
式中、L*は輝度であり、a*はマゼンタ→グリーン軸上の位置を表し、b*はイエロー→ブルー軸上の位置を表す。
・本発明の滅菌インジケータをプラズマに接触させること;
・前記インジケータの染料の色を、前記チャンバ内のリファレンス温度に特有の第1のリファレンスの色と比較すること;および
・前記インジケータの染料の色を、酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nのリファレンス量に特有の第2のリファレンスの色と比較すること。
・酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に熱を帯びる種類の化合物と、当該化合物と熱接触しているサーモクロミック染料とを含む第1部位;および
・サーモクロミック染料を含み、酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に熱を帯びる種類の化合物を含まない第2部位。
・前記滅菌インジケータをプラズマに接触させること;および
・前記インジケータの第1部位と第2部位の染料の色を、2つのリファレンスの色と比較すること。
20℃:白みがかった薄ピンク
60℃:薄ピンク
70℃:ピンク
90℃:マゼンタ
120℃:紫
媒体18を、メタアラミド繊維で構成した。
媒体18を、綿繊維で構成した。
Claims (13)
- 窒素および/または酸素に基づくガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマによる滅菌に用いられる滅菌インジケータ(17)であって、以下を含むことを特徴とする、滅菌インジケータ(17)。
・酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に熱を帯びる種類の化合物(21)であって少なくとも1種の金属を含む化合物(21)と、前記化合物(21)と熱接触しているサーモクロミック染料(19)であって、酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に前記化合物(21)が帯びる熱によって色が変化するサーモクロミック染料とを含む第1部位(22);および
・サーモクロミック染料(19)を含み、酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nと接触した際に熱を帯びる種類の化合物(21)を含まない第2部位(23)。 - 前記金属が、銅、チタン、鋼、アルミニウム、およびこれらの合金から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 前記金属が、銅、およびその合金から選択されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 前記化合物(21)が、粉体、粒子、フィラメント、または繊維の形態にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 前記化合物(21)および前記染料(19)が、媒体(18)と接触していることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 前記媒体(18)が、板状または繊維状であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 前記媒体(18)が、セルロース、織布、綿、紙、および吸取紙から選択されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 前記染料(19)が、不可逆的なサーモクロミック染料であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のインジケータ(17)。
- 窒素および/または酸素に基づくガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマによる、医療用または外科用の器具を滅菌するための滅菌装置内での請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のインジケータ(17)の使用。
- 窒素および/または酸素に基づくガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマ中の酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nの存在を示すための請求項9に記載の使用。
- 窒素および/または酸素に基づくガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマを用いるポスト−ディスチャージチャンバ(4)内の温度をさらに示すための、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のインジケータ(17)の使用。
- 窒素および/または酸素に基づくガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマを用いるポスト−ディスチャージチャンバ内(4)に存在するプラズマ中の酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nの存在を示すための方法であって、以下を順に含むことを特徴とする方法。
・請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の滅菌インジケータ(17)をプラズマに接触させること;および
・前記インジケータ(17)の染料(19)の色を、リファレンスの色と比較すること。 - a)窒素および/または酸素に基づくガスから得られるポスト−ディスチャージプラズマを用いるポスト−ディスチャージチャンバ(4)内に存在するプラズマ中の酸素原子Oおよび/または窒素原子Nの存在;およびb)ポスト−ディスチャージチャンバ内の温度を示す方法であって、以下を順に含むことを特徴とする方法。
・請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の滅菌インジケータ(17)をプラズマに接触させること;および
・前記インジケータ(17)の第1部位(22)と第2部位(23)の染料(19)の色を、2つのリファレンスの色と比較すること。
