Description
正極活物質として用いられるLiCoO295重量%、Super―P(導電剤)2.5重量%及びPVdF(結合剤)2.5重量%を、溶剤であるNMP(N―methyl―2―pyrrolidone)に添加して正極混合物スラリーを製造し、負極活物質として用いられる人造黒鉛95重量%、Super―P(導電剤)2.5重量%及びPVdF(結合剤)2.5重量%を、溶剤であるNMPに添加して負極混合物スラリーを製造した。その後、正極混合物スラリー及び負極混合物スラリーをアルミニウムホイル及び銅ホイル上にコーティング、乾燥及び圧着することで、正極及び負極をそれぞれ製造した。
パウチ型電池ケースの表面に両面テープを付着させ、二つのパウチ型電池を結合した以外は、実施例1と同様の方法により電池モジュールを組み立てた。
上記の実施例1及び比較例1において製造した電池モジュールを用いて、Z軸振動テストを行った後、各電池相互間の結合状態を確認した(振動テスト)。その結果、実施例1の電池モジュールでは、Z軸振動テスト前に比べて大きな差が発生しなかったが、比較例1の電池モジュールでは、振動テスト前に比べて、モジュールを構成する各電池間に約10%程度の位置偏差が誘発された。

Claims (4)
- 多数の板状型電池セルを充積した構造の電池モジュールであって、
前記各電池セル相互間には、外部衝撃による滑りを防止し、前記衝撃を吸収するための接着部材が付着してなるものであり、
前記接着部材が、フック状の雄型タイプと、ループ状の雌型タイプから構成されてなるフック及びループファスナーであり、かつ、隣接する電池セルの対向面に付着され、この結合によりお互いに安全に接着されてなり、これにより、電池モジュールの充積構造を安定的に維持し、かつ、電池モジュールの冷却効率性を高めるものであり、
前記接着部材が、一つの単位として電池セルの全面または一部の面に付着されるか、二つまたはそれ以上の単位として電池セルの全面または一部の面に付着されてなり、
前記フック及びループファスナーの少なくとも一部は、高熱伝導性素材からなり、
前記多数の電池セルが、前記フック状の雄型タイプと前記ループ状の雌型タイプとの結合によって互いに付着されてなり、これによって、前記フック状の雄型タイプと前記ループ状の雌型タイプとの構造特性により、前記フック及びループファスナーの結合構造によって、冷媒通過させてなるものである、電池モジュール。 - 前記板状型電池セルは、金属層と樹脂層のラミネートシートの電池ケースに電極組立体が内蔵されたパウチ型電池セルである、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルは、リチウムイオンポリマー電池である、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールが、電気自動車またはハイブリッド電気自動車の動力源として用いられる、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
