Description
車両用の電源装置は、モーター19を駆動する複数の電池1と、電池1の温度を検出する温度検出回路2と、電池1の異常温度上昇を阻止する異常温度上昇阻止回路3を備える。温度検出回路2は、電池1に熱結合するように配設されて、電池温度で電気抵抗を変化させる複数の温度センサー4と、各々の温度センサー4の電気抵抗の変化を電圧変化に変換する電圧変換回路5と、電圧変換回路5の出力電圧をデジタル信号に変換するA/Dコンバータ6と、このA/Dコンバータ6から出力される温度信号が入力される制御回路7とを備える。異常温度上昇阻止回路3は、温度検出回路3の電圧変換回路5から出力される出力電圧を基準電圧21と比較して、電池1が設定温度に上昇すると異常温度信号を出力するコンパレータ8と、このコンパレータ8に接続されて、コンパレータ8の異常温度信号を検出して電池1の電流を遮断する強制電流遮断回路10とを備える。電源装置は、制御回路7と異常温度上昇阻止回路3が電池1の温度を監視して、電池1の電流を遮断する。
そして、制御回路7は、上述のように、電流を低下させて抑制しても、電池1の温度上昇が続くなら、次の電流制御として、コンタクター18をオフに切り換えて電流を遮断する。
制御回路7が正常に機能しない場合、例えば、マイコンを備える制御回路7でのソフト制御が失敗(マイコン暴走も含む)したときは、制御回路7での設定温度では制御されないことより、ハード機構である異常温度上昇阻止回路3で所定温度にて、電流制御として、コンタクター18を開いて電流を遮断する。

Claims (7)
- モーター(19)を駆動する複数の電池(1)と、電池(1)の温度を検出する温度検出回路(2)と、電池(1)の異常温度上昇を阻止する異常温度上昇阻止回路(3)を備える車両用の電源装置であって、
温度検出回路(2)は、電池(1)に熱結合するように配設されて、電池温度で電気抵抗を変化させる複数の温度センサー(4)と、各々の温度センサー(4)の電気抵抗の変化を電圧変化に変換する電圧変換回路(5)と、電圧変換回路(5)の出力電圧をデジタル信号に変換するA/Dコンバータ(6)と、このA/Dコンバータ(6)から出力される温度信号が入力される制御回路(7)とを備えており、
異常温度上昇阻止回路(3)は、温度検出回路(2)の電圧変換回路(5)から出力される出力電圧を基準電圧(21)と比較して、電池(1)が設定温度に上昇すると異常温度信号を出力するコンパレータ(8)と、このコンパレータ(8)に接続されて、コンパレータ(8)の異常温度信号を検出して電池(1)の電流を遮断する強制電流遮断回路(10)とを備えており、
制御回路(7)と異常温度上昇阻止回路(3)が電池(1)の温度を監視して、電池(1)の電流を制御するようにしてなる車両用の電源装置。 - 異常温度信号が出力されると強制電流遮断回路(10)が電池(1)の電流を遮断するようにしてなる請求項1に記載される車両用の電源装置。
- 異常温度上昇阻止回路(3)が、電池(1)の異常温度を検出するコンパレータ(8)と、温度センサー(4)を接続する温度センサー回路(15)の短絡を検出して、温度センサー回路(15)が短絡すると短絡信号を出力する短絡コンパレータ(9)を備えており、コンパレータ(8)と短絡コンパレータ(9)は強制電流遮断回路(10)に接続され、
強制電流遮断回路(10)は、コンパレータ(8)から異常温度信号が入力され、かつ短絡コンパレータ(9)から短絡信号が入力されない状態では電池(1)の電流を遮断するが、
短絡コンパレータ(9)から強制電流遮断回路(10)に短絡信号が出力されると、電池(1)の電流を遮断しない請求項1に記載される車両用の電源装置。 - コンパレータ(8)は、電池(1)が設定温度以上になると”High”の異常温度信号を出力し、短絡コンパレータ(9)は温度センサー回路(15)が短絡すると”Low”の短絡信号を出力するコンパレータで、コンパレータ(8)と短絡コンパレータ(9)の出力がAND回路(23)を介して、強制電流遮断回路(10)に入力され、AND回路(23)が強制電流遮断回路(10)に”High”を出力する状態で、電池(1)の電流が遮断される請求項3に記載される車両用の電源装置。
- 温度センサー(4)が電池温度が高くなると電気抵抗が小さくなる温度素子である請求項1に記載される車両用の電源装置。
- 電圧変換回路(5)が、温度センサー(4)と直列に接続された直列抵抗(12)と、この直列抵抗(12)と温度センサー(4)との直列回路に電圧を供給する電源(13)とである請求項1に記載される車両用の電源装置。
- 温度検出回路(2)を複数個備え、各温度検出回路(2)に対して1対となるコンパレータ(8)及び短絡コンパレータ(9)を異常温度上昇阻止回路(3)に備え、短絡コンパレータ(9)から短絡信号が判定されていない1ないし複数の温度検出回路(2)のコンパレータ(8)の判定のうち、少なくとも1回路に接続されたコンパレータ(8)の異常温度信号を検出して、複数の電池の全ての電流を遮断するようにしてなる請求項3に記載される車両用の電源装置。
