Description
酢酸刺激臭を評価するため、上記により得られた試料1の液体混合飼料から揮発する酢酸濃度を酢酸用気体検知管(株式会社ガステック社製)にて測定するとともに、これと同時に、その臭気を官能評価した。酢酸濃度の測定手順としては、先ず、容量200mLの容器に飼料100mLを入れて密封し、40℃恒温機内に1時間静置後、容器上部100mL中の気体の酢酸濃度を測定した。これらの結果を表1に示す。
ブドウ糖、乳糖、酸化マグネシウム、炭酸水素ナトリウムを表2に示す配合にした点を除いて、上記と同様の手順にて液体混合飼料を調製した。そして、これら各種飼料を家畜に給与しそれらの嗜好性を調査した。なお、液体混合飼料は、乳牛に給与される同内容の固形飼料にふりかけ、飼料摂取時および摂取後の乳牛の反応を観察した。その結果を表2に示す。
本飼料は液体であるため、低温下にて保存すると、時間の経過と共に液体が凍結または凝固(ゲル化)する可能性が考えられる。飼料が凍結または凝固すると、加温により液状に戻るものの、使用時の手間が増えることから、低温下でも凍結、凝固しないことが望まれる。また、本飼料の比重が高くなったり、溶解物濃度が高まると、沈殿物が発生したり、震動負荷により凝固したりする可能性が高まるが、これらも避けることが望まれる。さらに、カビ発生による品質劣化は避けなければならない。

Claims (5)
- 醸造酢に、炭酸カルシウムと、酸化マグネシウムまたは炭酸水素ナトリウムとが溶解されてなる液体混合飼料。
- 上記醸造酢の酸度が3〜15%であって、この醸造酢の濃度が20〜95%(w/v)、上記炭酸カルシウムの濃度が1〜11.875%(w/v)、上記酸化マグネシウムの濃度が0.5〜10%(w/v)または上記炭酸水素ナトリウムの濃度が0.2〜2.0%(w/v)である請求項1に記載の液体混合飼料。
- 0.1〜30%(w/v)の乳酸カルシウムと、0.1〜2.0%(w/v)の乳糖またはブドウ糖と、0.01〜5.0%(w/v)の酢酸を除く有機酸または1〜20%(w/v)の果実抽出液と、5.0〜20.0%(w/v)の食塩と、1.0〜20.0%(w/v)の一価アルコールとがさらに溶解されている請求項2に記載の液体混合飼料。
- 醸造酢に、炭酸カルシウムと、酸化マグネシウムまたは炭酸水素ナトリウムとを投入し、加熱して溶解させる工程と、この溶液を室温まで冷却した後、果実抽出液をさらに投入して溶解させる工程とを含む液体混合飼料の製造方法。
- 上記果実抽出液を投入して溶解させた後、この溶液を80〜100℃にて殺菌する工程と、この殺菌を行った後、一価アルコールを投入して溶解させる工程とをさらに含む請求項4に記載の液体混合飼料の製造方法。
