Description
塩素刺激緩和を評価するため、その指標として果実抽出液の塩素中和度合いを調査した。先ず、梅実抽出液を表1の各重量で投入したことを除き、上記と同様の手順にて液体混合飼料を調製した。そして、これら各濃度の液体混合飼料に対して、オルトトリジン試薬を用いて、塩素との反応により発する黄色の濃さを相対評価した。その結果を表1に示す。なお、オルトトリジン試薬添加による塩素との反応度合いの目安となる黄色の濃さは、果実抽出液および有機酸の無添加区の対照区を「10」とし、果実抽出液の濃度が10%の試験区を「1」として、相対的に評価した。
イオン化カルシウムの供給源として効果的である塩化カルシウムの配合により、コスト面も含めて効率的に製剤のイオン化カルシウム濃度を上昇させることができるものの、塩化カルシウムの配合により、製剤には苦味、えぐ味が生じ、家畜の嗜好性は顕著に低下する。特に液体飼料の場合は、家畜嗜好性の低下が給与時の誤嚥を引き起こす可能性が高く、嗜好性を高めることが必要である。
本製剤は低温下にて保存されるケースも多く、時間の経過とともに液体が凍結または凝固(ゲル化)する可能性がある。製剤が凍結もしくは凝固すると、加温により液体状態に戻りはするものの、使用時の手間が増え、低温下でも凍結、凝固しないことが望まれる。そこで、低温下で凝固し易いグルコン酸の安定化に効果的なグリセリンや、凝固点の低いアルコールを配合することで、低温下における品質を評価した。グリセリンおよび飼料用アルコールの投入量は上記の試験と同様にして、これら各濃度の液体混合飼料を室温(20℃)、4℃、−20℃の環境下で1か月間静置し、その液状を確認した。その結果を表3に示す。

Claims (3)
- 水に、塩化カルシウムと、有機酸を含有する果実抽出液または有機酸と、グリセリンと、一価アルコールとが溶解されてなる液体混合飼料であって、上記塩化カルシウムの濃度が2〜20%(w/v)、上記有機酸を含有する果実抽出液の濃度が2.5〜20%(w/v)または上記有機酸の濃度が0.1〜15%(w/v)、上記グリセリンの濃度が5〜25%(w/v)、上記一価アルコールの濃度が1〜20%(w/v)である液体混合飼料。
- 2〜20重量部の塩化カルシウムと、2.5〜20重量部の有機酸を含有する果実抽出液または0.1〜15重量部の有機酸と、5〜25重量部のグリセリンと、1〜20重量部の一価アルコールとを含有し、液体混合飼料として使用する際に水で希釈される液体混合飼料用原液。
- 水に塩化カルシウムを投入し、加熱して溶解させる工程と、この溶液を室温まで冷却した後、有機酸を含有する果実抽出液とグリセリンをさらに投入して溶解させる工程と、上記有機酸を含有する果実抽出液と上記グリセリンを投入して溶解させた後、この溶液を80〜100℃にて殺菌する工程と、この殺菌を行った後、一価アルコールを投入して溶解させる工程とを含む液体混合飼料の製造方法であって、上記液体混合飼料における上記塩化カルシウムの濃度が2〜20%(w/v)、上記有機酸を含有する果実抽出液の濃度が2.5〜20%(w/v)または上記有機酸の濃度が0.1〜15%(w/v)、上記グリセリンの濃度が5〜25%(w/v)、上記一価アルコールの濃度が1〜20%(w/v)である液体混合飼料の製造方法。
