Description
このディスプレイは、従属請求項2乃至16のうち何れか1つ以上の請求項に記載された特徴を有していてもよい。
・ 1つの基体(a substrate)に含まれる第1の部分及び第2の部分は、同一平面には位置していない。
・ 1つの基体に含まれる第1の部分及び第2の部分は、実質上平行な平面に位置している。
・ 1つの基体に含まれる第1の部分及び第2の部分は、段差関係にある。
・ 1つの基体に含まれる第1の部分及び第2の部分は、おおむねU字形状となるように構成されている。
・ 第2の部分は、配線による、及び/または、電気的な接続を備えている。
・ 第1の部分は、OLED材のガラスパネルを支持する支持体を含んでいる。
・ 第1の部分は、プラスチック材料(plastics material)でなる成形支持体を含んでいる。
・ 駆動電子機器と前記ピクセルとの間で高度な電気的統合接続性を確保するための可撓性断熱手段。

Claims (5)
- 複数のディスプレイタイル(10)を含むディスプレイであって、
ディスプレイタイル(10)のそれぞれは、第1の部分(12)と、第2の部分(17)と、支持体(11)とを含んでおり、
第1の部分(12)は、ピクセル化表示用の個別にアドレス指定できる複数のピクセル素子を有する有機発光デバイス(OLED)材を組み込んだ表示領域を備えており、
前記第2の部分(17)は、配線及び電気的な接続を行うコネクタを有するインターフェースプリント回路基板であり、
前記支持体(11)は、段差関係にある面の一方で前記第1の部分(12)を支持し、他方で前記第2の部分(17)を支持しており、
1つのディスプレイタイル(10)に含まれる第1及び第2の部分(12,17)は、前記支持体によって付された段差関係にあり、
前記複数のディスプレイタイル(10)は、互いに隣接する一方のディスプレイタイル(10)の前記第2の部分(17)が、他方のディスプレイタイル(10)の第1の部分(12)の下に位置していて、当該ディスプレイを見る者に視認されない、
ディスプレイ。 - 請求項1に記載されたディスプレイであって、前記支持体(11)は、プラスチック材料でなる成形体である、ディスプレイ。
- 請求項1又は2に記載されたディスプレイであって、前記有機発光デバイスは、発光手段である、ディスプレイ。
- 請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載されたディスプレイであって、バックライト照明手段として用いられる、ディスプレイ。
- 請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載されたディスプレイであって、複数のディスプレイタイル(10)は、連続する表示面を構成する、ディスプレイ。
