Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係るホーリーファイバの模式的な断面図である。図1に示すように、このホーリーファイバ10は、中心に位置するコア部11と、コア部11の外周に位置するクラッド部12とを備える。コア部11とクラッド部12とは、いずれも屈折率調整用のドーパントが添加されていない純シリカガラスからなる。

Claims (1)
- 中心に位置するコア部と、
前記コア部の外周に位置し該コア部の周囲に三角格子状に配置された空孔を有するクラッド部と、
を備え、前記空孔の孔径をd[μm]、前記三角格子の格子定数をΛ[μm]とすると、d/Λが0.7〜0.97であり、Λが0.55〜1.2μmであり、前記空孔が前記コア部を囲むように形成する正六角形状の層の数が2であり、基底モードのゼロ分散波長が700nmより小さく、前記ゼロ分散波長において高次モードを有し、前記ゼロ分散波長において、前記基底モードの閉じ込め損失が0.1dB/m以下であるとともに前記高次モードの閉じ込め損失が10dB/m以上であることを特徴とするホーリーファイバ。
