Claims (10)
- 経路沿いに媒体を送る手段と、上記経路に沿って配置された印刷部と、を備え、
上記印刷部が、上記経路を移動する上記媒体に相変化インクを被着させる少なくとも第1プリントヘッド及び第2プリントヘッドを有し、さらに上記第1プリントヘッドに対向する、上記経路上の位置に配置された第1裏打ち材と、上記第2プリントヘッドに対向する、上記経路上の位置に配置された第2裏打ち材とを有し、
上記第1裏打ち材及び第2裏打ち材により、当該裏打ち材とこれに対応するプリントヘッドの間を通過する媒体を所定のインク受入温度域内の温度に到達させ、上記第1裏打ち材に対応するインク受入温度と上記第2裏打ち材に対応するインク受入温度とが、印刷ゾーンを通じて一定の媒体温度が得られるように、個別に制御可能である、
印刷装置。 - 請求項1に記載の印刷装置であって、前記媒体は長尺ウェブである、印刷装置。
- 請求項1に記載の印刷装置であって、前記第1裏打ち材および第2裏打ち材は、それぞれ媒体に対する気体の流れを含む、印刷装置。
- 経路沿いに媒体を送る手段と、その媒体の温度を所定の予熱温度にする予熱器と、上記経路に沿って配置された印刷部と、を備え、
上記印刷部が、上記経路を移動する上記媒体に相変化インクを被着させる少なくとも第1プリントヘッド及び第2プリントヘッドを有し、さらに上記第1プリントヘッドに対向する、上記経路上の位置に配置された第1裏打ち材と、上記第2プリントヘッドに対向する、上記経路上の位置に配置された第2裏打ち材とを有し、
上記第1裏打ち材及び第2裏打ち材により、当該裏打ち材とこれに対応するプリントヘッドの間を通過する媒体を所定のインク受入温度域内の温度に到達させ、上記第1裏打ち材に対応するインク受入温度と上記第2裏打ち材に対応するインク受入温度とが、印刷ゾーンを通じて一定の媒体温度が得られるように、個別に制御可能である、
印刷装置。 - 請求項4に記載の印刷装置であって、前記予熱器が、前記媒体を30〜70℃の範囲内の予熱温度とする、印刷装置。
- 請求項4に記載の印刷装置であって、前記第1および第2裏打ち材が、前記媒体を40〜60℃の範囲内のインク受入温度とし、相変化インクを100〜140℃の温度にして上記媒体に被着させる、印刷装置。
- 経路沿いに媒体を送る手段と、上記経路に沿って配置された印刷部と、上記経路に沿って印刷部より下流に配置された中間加熱器と、上記経路に沿って中間加熱器より下流に配置され、上記媒体を加圧する圧延器と、を備え、
上記印刷部が、上記経路を移動する上記媒体に相変化インクを被着させる少なくとも第1プリントヘッド及び第2プリントヘッドを有し、さらに上記第1プリントヘッドに対向する、上記経路上の位置に配置された第1裏打ち材と、上記第2プリントヘッドに対向する、上記経路上の位置に配置された第2裏打ち材とを有し、
上記第1裏打ち材及び第2裏打ち材により、上当該打ち材とこれに対応するプリントヘッドの間を通過する媒体を所定のインク受入温度域内の温度に到達させ、上記第1裏打ち材に対応するインク受入温度と上記第2裏打ち材に対応するインク受入温度とが、印刷ゾーンを通じて一定の媒体温度が得られるように、個別に制御可能である、
印刷装置。 - 請求項7に記載の印刷装置であって、前記中間加熱器は、前記インクと前記媒体の温度差を15℃以内とする、印刷装置。
- 請求項7に記載の印刷装置であって、前記経路上の、前記圧延器の下流に、前記媒体に圧力を加える光沢器を更に有する、印刷装置。
- 請求項9に記載の印刷装置であって、前記圧延器における前記媒体の温度を35〜80℃とし、前記光沢器における前記媒体の温度を30〜70℃とする、印刷装置。
