Description
前記同高部と異高部とはストレート状であってテーパ状の連接部を介して繋がっており、前記異高部の谷径を前記同高部の谷径よりも大径に設定しており、このため、同高部の谷径をD1、異高部の谷径をD2、同高部における両ねじ山の外径をD3、異高部における第1ねじ山の外径をD4、異高部における第2ねじ山の外径をD5とすると、D1<D2、D3<D4<D5の関係になっていると共に、更に、D2<D3の関係になっており、
かつ、前記第2ねじ山は、異高部での山の角度を同高部での山の角度よりも小さい角度に設定している。
また、同高部の谷径が異高部の谷径よりも小さいことにより、基材に対する同高部の進入抵抗はより小さくなるため、ねじ込み力の低減と割れ防止との効果をより強く発揮することができる。
本願発明は上記の実施形態の他にも様々に具体化することができる。例えばねじ山は必ずしも頭の近傍まで延びている必要はなく、ねじ山の終端と頭との間に適宜長さのねじ無し部が存在しても良いのである。

Claims (1)
- 石膏ボードを枠材に締結することに使用する木ねじであって、
先端部を先窄まりに形成すると共に最先端を尖り先にしている軸と、前記軸の基端に設けた頭とを備えており、
前記頭は座面が外向き凹状に湾曲したラッパ形になっており、
前記軸に、互いに平行に延びる第1ねじ山と第2ねじ山との2条のねじ山を、それぞれ前記軸の先端部から立ち上がって前記頭の側に延びるように形成しており、
更に、前記両ねじ山のうち第2ねじ山は、長手方向に沿った途中の境界部を挟んで先端部寄りのエリアでは高さが低くて頭寄りのエリアでは高さが高くなるように形成されている一方、前記第1ねじ山は、略全長にわたって前記第2ねじ山の低い部分と略同じ高さに設定されており、このため、前記2条のねじ山から成るねじ部は、前記第1ねじ山と第2ねじ山と高さが同じ程度になっている同高部と前記第2ねじ山の高さが第1ねじ山の高さより高くなっている異高部とを有していて前記同高部が軸の先端側に位置して異高部が頭側に位置している、
という構成において、

かつ、前記第2ねじ山は、異高部での山の角度を同高部での山の角度よりも小さい角度に設定している、
