Description
この発明は、概ね、超音波外科用ブレードと、この超音波外科用ブレードを具備する超音波外科用器具とに関するものであり、より詳細には、ゲイン段部を具備する超音波外科用ブレードおよび超音波外科用器具に関するものである。
超音波外科用ブレードを具備する超音波外科用器具は、公知である。公知の超音波外科用器具のハンドピースは、ケーブルを介して超音波発生器によって駆動される超音波トランスデューサを具備するものである。上記超音波外科用器具の超音波伝送ロッドは、近位端と遠位端とを有しており、上記近位端は、上記超音波トランスデューサに操作可能に連結されている。超音波外科用ブレードは、上記超音波伝送ロッドの遠位端によって作動される。公知のブレード形状は、直線的なブレードおよび湾曲したブレードを具備し、ブレードの長軸あるいは湾曲した中心線に関して対称および非対称のブレードを具備するものである。
この発明の実施の形態に対する第1の表現形態は、超音波外科用ブレード本体を具備する超音波外科用ブレードに関するものである。超音波外科用ブレード本体は、最も遠位側の振動波腹点である遠位側先端部と、最も遠位側の振動波節点と、最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と、ゲイン段部とを有している。ゲイン段部は、最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と遠位側先端部との間に配されており、最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と遠位側先端部との間の距離の5%より長いゲイン段部距離だけ、最も遠位側の振動波節点から離間している。
この発明を詳細に説明する前に、この発明がその用途、あるいは添付の図面および記述に示された部品の構造および配置の細部に使用することに限定されない点に留意されるべきである。この発明の図示された実施の形態は、他の実施の形態、変更および修正において実施され、あるいは組み込まれてもよく、種々の方法で実践あるいは実行されてもよい。さらに、他の方法が示されていない限り、この明細書で使用された用語および表現は、読み手の便宜のために、この発明の図示された実施の形態を記述する目的で選択されたものであり、この発明を限定する目的で使用されるものではない。
以下、この発明の実施の態様を説明する。
(1)超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、
最も遠位側の振動波腹点である遠位側先端部と、最も遠位側の振動波節点と、最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と、ゲイン段部とを有する超音波外科用ブレード本体を具備し、
前記ゲイン段部は、前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と前記遠位側先端部との間に配され、かつ、
前記ゲイン段部は、前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と前記遠位側先端部との間の距離の5%より長いゲイン段部距離だけ、前記最も遠位側の振動波節点から離間している、
超音波外科用ブレード。
(2)実施態様1記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記ゲイン段部距離は、前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と前記遠位側先端部との間の距離の実質的に25%と45%との間である、超音波外科用ブレード。
(3)実施態様1記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と前記遠位側先端部との間において、前記ゲイン段部より近位側の前記超音波外科用ブレード本体の最大振幅は、前記ゲイン段部より遠位側の前記超音波外科用ブレード本体の最大振幅より小さい、超音波外科用ブレード。
(4)実施態様1記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点と前記遠位側先端部との間において、前記ゲイン段部より近位側の前記超音波外科用ブレード本体の最大振幅は、前記ゲイン段部より遠位側の前記超音波外科用ブレード本体の最大振幅より大きい、超音波外科用ブレード。
(5)実施態様1記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記ゲイン段部は、前記最も遠位側の振動波節点と前記遠位側先端部との間に配されている、超音波外科用ブレード。
(7)実施態様1記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、
前記超音波外科用ブレード本体は、
長軸を有し、
前記ゲイン段部から前記遠位側先端部への、実質的に一定の第1横断面領域を有する第1幾何学的固体部と、
前記ゲイン段部から前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点への、実質的に一定の第2横断面領域を有する第2幾何学的固体部と、
から本質的に構成されており、
前記第2横断面領域は、前記第1横断面領域と異なる、
超音波外科用ブレード。
(8)実施態様7記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記第1横断面領域の第1外周部の形状および寸法は、前記第2横断面領域の第2外周部の形状および寸法と実質的に等しい、超音波外科用ブレード。
(9)実施態様8記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記第1横断面領域および前記第2横断面領域の少なくとも一方は、空隙部を囲繞する、超音波外科用ブレード。
(10)実施態様9記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記空隙部は、前記第1幾何学的固体部内に配され、かつ前記遠位側先端部より近位側に延在する第1長孔を具備する、超音波外科用ブレード。
(12)実施態様10記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記第1長孔を覆い、かつ前記遠位側先端部における前記第1幾何学的固体部に取外し可能あるいは恒久的に取り付けられる膜体をさらに具備する、超音波外科用ブレード。

前記超音波外科用ブレード本体は、長軸を有するものであり、かつ第1幾何学的固体部および第2幾何学的固体部とから本質的に構成されており、
前記第1幾何学的固体部は、前記ゲイン段部から前記遠位側先端部へ延在し、かつ一定でない第1横断面領域を有する第1質量部を有し、
前記第2幾何学的固体部は、前記ゲイン段部から前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点へ延在し、かつ一定でない第2横断面領域を有する第2質量部を有し、

(14)実施態様13記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記第1横断面領域の第1外周部の形状および寸法は、前記第2横断面領域の第2外周部の形状および寸法と実質的に等しい、超音波外科用ブレード。
(15)実施態様14記載の超音波外科用ブレードにおいて、前記第1横断面領域および前記第2横断面領域の少なくとも一方は、空隙部を囲繞する、超音波外科用ブレード。

前記超音波外科用ブレード本体は、長軸を有するものであり、かつ第1質量部を有すると共に前記ゲイン段部から前記遠位側先端部へ延在する長さの第1軸を有する第1幾何学的固体部と、第2質量部を有すると共に前記ゲイン段部から前記最も遠位側の第2振動波腹点へ延在する長さの第2軸を有する第2幾何学的固体部とから本質的に構成されており、
