Description
本出願はその内容が本明細書で参照文献として全体的に引用される2002年9月24日に出願された米国仮特許出願第60/413,120号の優先権を主張している。
本発明は1/2波長のセグメントを追加することなくなおかつ超音波発生器に固定するのに同じように有効なモードを提供しながら肥満学の分野のようなより長い作用長さが望まれる用途で用いるためのより長い作用長さを有する超音波器具を操作者に提供する。本発明はより短い導波管が望ましい用途で有益である超音波導波管の全体の長さの短縮をも行う。本発明は導波管および/または端部エフェクターの1/2波長セグメントの断面積および/または硬さが変えられたブレードを提供する。導波管または端部エフェクターの1/2波長セグメントは1/2波長セグメントを追加したり除去したりせずに導波管および/または端部エフェクターの長さを延長または短縮するためのさまざまな形状および機能を有していてよい。本発明は通常の周波数で通常の超音波変換器と共に働くように意図されている。
〔実施態様〕
(1) 超音波手術器具であって、
(a)第1のセグメントおよび第2のセグメントを有し、上記第1のセグメントが第2の断面積よりも大きい第1の断面積を有する、超音波ブレード
を有する、超音波手術器具。
(2) 超音波手術器具であって、
(a)ハウジングと、
(b)上記ハウジングに結合された近位の端部と、遠位の端部とを有する管状のシースと、
(c)上記管状のシース内に配置され、上記管状のシースの上記遠位の端部の遠位の側に延在する端部エフェクターを有し、第2の断面積よりも大きい第1の断面積を有する、超音波導波管と
を有する、超音波手術器具。
(3) 管状のシースの遠位の端部に回動するように取り付けられ端部エフェクターとの間で組織を締めるために上記端部エフェクターに対して回動するクランプアームをさらに有する、実施態様2記載の超音波手術器具。

Claims (3)
- 超音波手術器具であって、
近位のセグメントと、中央のセグメントと、遠位のセグメントとを有する1/2波長セグメントを備え、
前記中央のセグメントは、前記近位のセグメントおよび前記遠位のセグメントよりも大きい断面積を有し、
予め選択されたまたは動作用の周波数において、前記近位のセグメントの最も近位の部分には第1の波腹が位置づけられ、前記中央のセグメントの中心線には波節が位置づけられ、前記遠位のセグメントの最も遠位の部分には第2の波腹が位置づけられ、
前記1/2波長セグメントは、前記中心線に対して対称形状であり、
前記1/2波長セグメントは、中実のものであり、
前記中央のセグメントの長さは、前記近位のセグメント及び前記遠位のセグメントのいずれかの長さよりも長い、超音波手術器具。 - 前記中央のセグメントは、前記近位のセグメントおよび前記遠位のセグメントよりも硬さおよび密度の少なくともいずれかが増大している、請求項1記載の超音波手術器具。
- 前記予め選択されたまたは動作用の周波数は、55kHzである、請求項1または2記載の超音波手術器具。
