Claims (7)
- 一対の電極の間に発光領域を有し、
前記発光領域は、発光性を有する有機基及びGe−O結合を含有する物質の層と、GeO2からなる無機化合物の層が交互に積層している構造を有することで、多重量子井戸構造を形成していることを特徴とする発光素子。 - 一対の電極の間に発光領域を有し、
前記発光領域は、発光性を有する有機基及びGe−O結合を含有する物質の層と、GeO2からなる無機化合物の層が交互に積層している構造を有することで、多重量子井戸構造を形成し、
前記無機化合物の伝導帯下端のエネルギー準位よりも前記発光性を有する有機基及びGe−O結合を含有する物質の伝導帯下端のエネルギー準位が低く、且つ、前記無機化合物の価電子帯上端のエネルギー準位よりも前記発光性を有する有機基及びGe−O結合を含有する物質の価電子帯上端のエネルギー準位が高いことを特徴とする発光素子。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記発光領域は、ゾル−ゲル法により作製されることを特徴とする発光素子。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項において、
前記無機化合物の層の厚さが2nm以上5nm以下であることを特徴とする発光素子。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項において、
前記発光性を有する有機基及びGe−O結合を含有する物質の層の厚さが2nm以上10nm以下であることを特徴とする発光素子。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の発光素子を有する発光装置。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の発光素子を有する面発光の照明装置。
