Description
同図において、継手本体1は、管継手、バルブ或はストレーナ等の管接続部の部位を示している。
また、継手本体1のめねじ部2の完全ねじ部2aの深さを管理することでバラつくことなく管理することもできる。
本発明におけるコア本体6のおねじ部9を、継手本体1のめねじ部2にコア本体6のねじこみ最終端で、更にコア本体6をねじ込むと、後述のように、コア先端面11が傾いても、めねじ部2の奥側の不完全ねじ部3と下穴残り部3aを最小限に小さく形成し、しかも、押潰し部7のコア本体6の付け根部位の肉厚を薄肉としているので、図4に示すように、継手底部5とコア先端面11との間で塊状の介在物13となり、両者の密封性を確保できる。
本例によると、おねじ部9が不完全ねじ部3に入り込む量が少ない(実測ではRc1で最大2mmまで)ため、一般的な食い付き長さ1.5山(Rc1で3.46mm)ではコアがねじ込めない部分が多く残ってしまい、その分だけコア先端面11と継手底部5の間が遠くなってしまう。そのため不完全ねじ部3をできるだけ短くするために、タップ食い付き部3bの角度をより鋭角にとって丈を短くした(本例では35度の角度で3.46mmを2.8mmにした)。

Claims (1)
- 継手本体に設けためねじ部の奥側に継手底部を設け、前記めねじ部の完全ねじ部奥側に形成された不完全ねじ部の長さを小さくして、コア本体先端面と継手本体の継手底部との間を小さく設定し、外周にシール部材を装着したエンジニアリングプラスチック製の筒形状コア本体のおねじ部を前記めねじ部にねじ込むと共に、前記コア本体の先端面に環状で、コア本体先端面の付け根部位の肉厚を薄肉な凸状とした押潰し部を突設形成し、この押潰し部の長さを前記コア本体が傾く巾以上の長さに設定し、前記コア本体が不完全ねじ部を押したねじ込み終端でコア本体の先端面が傾いても前記押潰し部が前記継手底部とコア本体先端面との間で押し潰されて塊状の介在物が形成され、この介在物により、前記継手底部とコア本体先端面との間を密封保持することを特徴とする防食コアねじ込み型継手。
