Description
以下、各請求項の発明について説明する。
貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液に繊維を浸し、前記水溶液にγ線または電子線を照射することを特徴とする繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
本発明に用いられる放射線の波長としては、好ましくは1nm未満、より好ましくは0.1nm以下、特に好ましくは0.01nm以下である。波長が短いほど、大きさが均一で微細な貴金属ナノ粒子を短時間で析出する傾向がある。
前記貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を構成する貴金属が、金、銀、白金、パラジウム、ルテニウム、ロジウム、イリジウムおよびレニウムからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の貴金属であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
なお、所謂貴金属元素の内、オスミウムは、その酸化物が非常に有毒であるため、本請求項の発明から除外されている。
前記貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液中の貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体の濃度が、1μM〜1Mであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
前記貴金属が銀であって、前記水溶液中の銀イオンまたは銀錯体の濃度が、0.005〜10mMであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
前記貴金属が銀であって、前記水溶液中の銀イオンまたは銀錯体の濃度が、0.01〜10mMであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
前記γ線または電子線の照射が、吸収線量1J/kg以上の条件で行われることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
前記貴金属が銀であって、前記γ線または電子線の照射が、吸収線量10〜50000J/kgの条件で行われることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
前記貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液が、さらに水溶性高分子化合物、界面活性剤および有機溶媒からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の添加剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法である。
請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法を備えていることを特徴とする抗菌性繊維の製造方法である。
貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液に繊維を浸し、前記水溶液にγ線または電子線を照射することを特徴とする抗菌性繊維の製造方法である。
請求項9または請求項10に記載の抗菌性繊維の製造方法によって製造されたことを特徴とする抗菌性繊維である。
実施例1および比較例1においては、貴金属として銀を用いて抗菌性処理を行い、得れた抗菌性能につき、市販の抗菌銀繊維からなる布と比較した。
(1)抗菌性繊維試料の作成
800mLの水に硝酸銀を加えて濃度0.1mMとした硝酸銀水溶液を1Lのプラスチックボトル中に入れ、さらに銀イオンの還元反応を促進させるために2−プロパノール8mLを加えた。得られた水溶液には、銀8.6mgがイオンとして存在している。
放射線源:コバルト60γ線源(γ線光量子のエネルギー:1.25MeV)
線源強さ:約7000キュリー
線量率 :3kGy/h
照射時間:2時間
市販の抗菌銀繊維からなる布(商品名:エージーフレッシュ加工、日清紡績社製)を、γ線の照射等特別の処理をせず、比較例1の抗菌性繊維試料とした。
実施例1および比較例1で得られた各試料をそれぞれ2分し、片方はそのままとし(以下、「洗濯0回の試料」と言う)、他方は洗濯を10回行った(以下、「洗濯10回後の試料」と言う)。なお、洗濯は、JIS L0217(繊維製品の取り扱いに関する表示記号およびその表示方法)の別表103号吊干しに準じて行い、洗剤はJAFET標準洗剤(中性:非イオン系界面活性剤)を使用した。
試験結果を、無加工試料におけるデータと共に、表1に示す。
以下の実施例は、貴金属イオンとして銀イオンを用い、濃度と抗菌性との関係につき試験を行ったものである。
1Lの水に硝酸銀を加えて表2に示す各濃度とした硝酸銀水溶液を容器に入れ、さらに銀イオンの還元反応を促進させるために2−プロパノール1vol%を加えた。
得られた実施例2〜5の各試料につき、実施例1と同様の抗菌性能試験を行った。試験結果を、無加工試料におけるデータと共に、表2に示す。
以下の実施例は、貴金属イオンとして銀イオンを用い、吸収線量と抗菌性との関係につき試験を行ったものである。
1Lの水に硝酸銀を加えて濃度0.1mMとした硝酸銀水溶液を容器に入れ、さらに銀イオンの還元反応を促進させるために2−プロパノール1vol%を加えた。
得られた実施例6〜10の各試料につき、実施例1と同様の抗菌性能試験を行った。試験結果を、無加工試料におけるデータと共に、表3に示す。
本実施例は、貴金属として銀に替えて金を用い、貴金属の種類の相違が抗菌性に及ぼす影響につき試験を行ったものである。
1Lの水に金イオン濃度を0.1mMとした金イオン水溶液を容器に入れ、さらに金イオンの還元反応を促進させるために2−プロパノール1vol%を加えた。
得られた実施例11の試料につき、実施例1と同様の抗菌性能試験を行った。その結果、洗濯0回では1.6、洗濯10回後では0.9の静菌活性値が得られ、抗菌性能としては、銀(実施例8)ほどではないことが分かった。
Claims (10)
- 貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液に繊維を浸し、前記水溶液にγ線または電子線を照射し、前記繊維の表面近傍に貴金属ナノ粒子を析出させると共に、析出した前記貴金属ナノ粒子を前記繊維の表面に付着させることを特徴とする繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を構成する貴金属が、金、銀、白金、パラジウム、ルテニウム、ロジウム、イリジウムおよびレニウムからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の貴金属であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液中の貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体の濃度が、1μM〜1Mであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記貴金属が銀であって、前記水溶液中の銀イオンまたは銀錯体の濃度が、0.005〜10mMであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記貴金属が銀であって、前記水溶液中の銀イオンまたは銀錯体の濃度が、0.01〜10mMであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記γ線または電子線の照射が、吸収線量1J/kg以上の条件で行われることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記貴金属が銀であって、前記γ線または電子線の照射が、吸収線量10〜50000J/kgの条件で行われることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 前記貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液が、さらに水溶性高分子化合物、界面活性剤および有機溶媒からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の添加剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法。
- 請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の繊維の抗菌処理方法を備えていることを特徴とする抗菌性繊維の製造方法。
- 貴金属イオンまたは貴金属錯体を含有する水溶液に繊維を浸し、前記水溶液にγ線または電子線を照射し、前記繊維の表面近傍に貴金属ナノ粒子を析出させると共に、析出した前記貴金属ナノ粒子を前記繊維の表面に付着させることを特徴とする抗菌性繊維の製造方法。
