Description
本発明は、3次元(3D)オブジェクトを構築するための、押出による積層堆積システムに関する。具体的には、本発明は、押出による積層堆積システムに用いられる押出ヘッドに関する。
[概要]
本発明は、押出による積層堆積システムに用いられる押出ヘッドに関する。押出ヘッドは、取付構造と、取付構造に固定された第1の液化ポンプと、第1の液化ポンプに隣接して配置された第2の液化ポンプと、取付構造に支持された切替機構と、第2の液化ポンプと部分的に接続されたスロット係合機構とを備える。切替機構は、第2の液化ポンプを、第1の液化ポンプに対して相対的に、第1の軸に沿って移動させるよう構成されている。スロット係合アセンブリは、第1の軸に沿って第2の液化ポンプが動作する範囲を定める。
図1は、システム10の正面図であり、システム10は、構築チャンバ12と、基台14と、構台16と、押出ヘッド18とを備える押出による積層堆積システムである。システム10のための好適なシステムの例には、ミネソタ州 エデン プレーリーにあるストラタシス,インコーポレイテッドによって開発された、溶融堆積モデリングシステムが含まれる。構築チャンバ12は、被包された環境を構成し、該環境内において、基台14と、構台16と、押出ヘッド18とを有する。押出ヘッド18は、3Dオブジェクト(3Dオブジェクト20と称する)と該3Dオブジェクトに対応する支持構造(支持構造22と称する)とを構築するためのものである。3Dオブジェクト20及び支持構造22の幾何学的な形状は単なる例示であることが理解され、また、システム10は、様々に異なる幾何学的デザインを有する3Dオブジェクト及び支持構造を構築するのに好適であることが理解される。
た後に、支持材料の押し出しを開始するために、支持液化ポンプ32を再調整する必要はない。これによって、構築動作中に必要とされる時間が短縮される。
Claims (11)
- 押出ヘッドであって、
少なくとも1つの取付構造と、
前記少なくとも1つの取付構造に固定された第1の液化ポンプと、
前記第1の液化ポンプに隣接して配置された第2の液化ポンプと、
前記少なくとも1つの取付構造に支持された切替機構であって、第1の軸に沿って、前記第1の液化ポンプに対して相対的に前記第2の液化ポンプを移動させるように構成された切替機構と、
前記第2の液化ポンプと部分的に接続され、前記第2の液化ポンプが前記第1の軸に沿って動作する範囲を規定するスロット係合機構と、を備え、
前記スロット係合機構は、
前記第1の軸に沿って互いに離間している第1の境界及び第2の境界を有するスロットと、
前記スロットに部分的に配置されている係合部材と、を備える
ことを特徴とする、押出ヘッド。 - 前記スロットと前記係合部材とのうちの一方が前記第2の液化ポンプに配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の押出ヘッド。
- 前記スロットと前記係合部材とのうちの他方が、前記第1の液化ポンプに配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の押出ヘッド。
- 前記係合部材と、前記スロットの前記第1の境界及び前記第2の境界の少なくとも1つと、が接触することによって、前記第2の液化ポンプが、前記第1の軸に対して垂直な第2の軸に沿って前記第1の液化ポンプに対して相対的に移動することが妨げられるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2又は請求項3に記載の押出ヘッド。
- 前記切替機構は、
前記少なくとも1つの取付構造に固定されたモータと、
前記モータに動作可能に固定されたネジ切りされたアクチュエータと、
前記第2の液化ポンプに固定され、かつ、前記ネジ切りされたアクチュエータとネジにより係合された、保持要素と、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項4の何れか1項に記載の押出ヘッド。 - 前記切替機構は、
前記モータに固定されたモータ軸であって、所定方向の長さを有するモータ軸と、
前記所定方向の長さに対して直行する方向において、前記モータ軸と固定されている連結ピンと、
前記ネジ切りされたアクチュエータに動作可能に固定され、かつ、少なくとも1つのスロットを有する連結部であって、前記少なくとも1つのスロット内で前記連結ピンが延在する、連結部と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の押出ヘッド。 - 前記第1の軸に沿って前記第2の液化ポンプが動作する範囲として、第1の位置と第2の位置とを有し、
前記第2の液化ポンプは、構築端部を備え、該構築端部は、前記第2の液化ポンプが前記第1の位置及び前記第2の位置に配置される場合に、前記第1の軸に沿って配列される、
ことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項6の何れか1項に記載の押出ヘッド。 - 押出ヘッドであって、
少なくとも1つの取付構造と、
前記少なくとも1つの取付構造に固定された第1の液化ポンプと、
前記第1の液化ポンプに隣接して配置された第2の液化ポンプであって、スロットと、前記第2の液化ポンプが第1の軸に沿って動作する範囲を規定するために該スロットに配置された係合部材とのうちの、一方を備える第2の液化ポンプと、
前記第1の液化ポンプに対して移動することのない要素であって、前記スロットと前記係合部材とのうちの、他方を備える要素と、
前記第1の軸に沿って前記第2の液化ポンプを移動させるために、前記第2の液化ポンプと係合する切替機構と、
を備えることを特徴とする、押出ヘッド。 - 前記第1の液化ポンプに対して移動することのない前記要素が、前記第1の液化ポンプの一部分を構成することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の押出ヘッド。
- 前記第2の液化ポンプが前記係合部材を備え、また、前記要素が前記スロットを備えることを特徴とする、請求項8または請求項9に記載の押出ヘッド。
- 前記スロットが、前記第1の軸に沿って離間する第1の境界及び第2の境界を有しており、
前記係合部材と、前記スロットの前記第1の境界及び前記第2の境界の少なくとも1つと、が接触することによって、前記第2の液化ポンプが、前記第1の軸に対して垂直な第2の軸に沿って前記第1の液化ポンプに対して相対的に移動することが妨げられるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする、請求項8ないし請求項10の何れか1項に記載の押出ヘッド。
